I started coming to exhale 817 when I was 10 weeks pregnant with my daughter. Rachel was amazing and supported me all throughout my pregnancy, until I was over 40 weeks. She always made me feel welcome, comfortable and supported while still getting a good workout. I strongly believe the classes helped me have a healthy pregnancy and smooth delivery. I’m still really loving the studio postpartum. All of the teachers and classes have been great. It’s definitely one of the best studio in the area. Highly recommend for prenatal and all yogis!
I have attended the prenatal yoga class with Rachel and I cannot recommend it enough! Rachel is incredibly knowledgeable teacher, leading flows that help both prenatal and postpartum mamas. It has been so helpful for me as I progressed through pregnancy, both in a physical and mental aspect. I felt better connected with my body and my baby. The class is great for beginners or for experienced yogis. Very grateful for such an awesome studio providing prenatal yoga!!
Love to momma referred me to this wonderful prenatal yoga class! I started with Rachel in the middle of my 2nd trimester and continued up until the week of delivery! I was reluctant to try it because I had never tried yoga before. I am so glad I did! Rachel took such great care of me and made me feel comfortable. She helped me with stretches, positioning blocks if I had trouble reaching them. I looked forward every week to coming and felt so relaxed by the time I left. I feel this definitely prepared my body for labor as my baby came quickly when she was ready! Everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed getting to know everyone. 10 out of 10!
I love Exhale817! I went to several of the Prenatal Yoga classes with Rachel and she was so awesome! I really think the classes helped me prepare to give birth, and it was nice connecting with the other moms/moms to be. It was also good to just stretch the body and also calm my mind through breath work. I have my son now and am still navigating first time mom life, but hope to be back soon!
I started prenatal yoga at Exhale last year and a couple months before the birth of my second child. I completed 10 classes with Rachel before the birth. This class was amazing and helped me so much. Especially during my labor and delivery. I was able to breathe through contractions freely and deeply and remembered all the breath work I learned with Rachel. My body was also physically ready because of yoga here. My body was open and more flexible and was in good shape for me and my baby. I do know that this new journey for me helped so much during my birth. Rachel is such a caring and knowledgeable teacher. She pushes you to do better without pushing you too far and seems in tune with everybody's needs during pregnancy not just mine. She really pays attention to your needs during class and also made a wonderfully calm, zen experience during class. You work hard but I barely felt it physically due to her cheering us on and constantly reminding and guiding us on breath work. I recommend this studio to anyone who is new to yoga, or is already an expert, because walking in with zero yoga experience I walked out with a wonderful new journey that I will continue you with. Thanks so much Exhale and thanks Rachel!
