Went on the Canalside walking tour (Friday 10/10/2025) with family members who were visiting from Illinois. Mary is a wonderful tour guide. Very informative but also, so friendly and engaging. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Just did a tour of Hoyt Lake with Marcia, and it was packed full of fascinating information. How she has so many stories memorized is beyond me. It was like watching a one-woman, 90 minute performance that was entertaining and educational. She answered everyone’s questions with a great depth of knowledge, and she clearly enjoyed giving the tour. On a personal note, I happen to love history and documentaries. I have less experience taking a tour on location, and after today’s experience, I’m so happy to now be a member of Explore Buffalo.

On Juneteenth, my 9 year old granddaughter and I took the Hoyt Lake tour. We both enjoyed it immensely and it held my granddaughter's attention the entire way. Marcia did an excellent job of sharing with us many things we did not know. She also related to my granddaughter and got her attention even before the tour began. Thank you Explore Buffalo for a great outing for the 2 of us.

On 06/11/2025 I was able to join the City Hall tour. The docent, Bruce, was knowledgable and an excellent communicator. He encouraged participants to ask many questions and was generous with his time. Thank you so much Explore Buffalo and Bruce.

Just finished the Silo City vertical tour with Larry (the mayor of Silo City) His wholehearted appreciation of Silo City exudes with every fact, personal anecdote, “Pete story”, and tale. History came to life! Highly recommend this tour!
