I love this place. There is no substitute for the experience of walking through a real, physical used bookstore like this one, getting lost among the shelves filled with classic editions, basking in the smell of the old pages as you leaf through something you had no idea you needed to read until you opened it. Long live Feldman's!
Extremely fair prices! Walked right in and the owner directed me to a copy of The Human Condition by Hannah Arendt, which was hard to find elsewhere. The cover wasn’t completely new, but it was in the edition I wanted and books are just as good with a worn cover. Glad to buy used and I will be coming back again.
How fantastic! What a gem. Found Lu Records (like one of the only record spots in the area) and didn’t realize it was in a book store. The owner is so kind and lovely to talk to. So knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are fabulous! I was short on time will be coming here often :) so many books to see!
Great spot! The collection of books here is incredible, I haven’t seen anything so wonderful before. The store is split between two buildings with a small oasis, the perfect reading spot. A great place to sell some old books or pick up “new” books.
There is a sign for parking but the lot was tiny & there were no spaces available. I walked a block or so to try to sell many books & they accepted only a few. The store, however, is enchanting. With books on every surface, it looks like something out of a movie.
