Ubicado en 1201 E Del Mar Blvd en Laredo, F&F Japanese Grill ofrece platos inspirados en hibachi con arroz o fideos y verduras. As soon as we walked in we were greeted immediately by the owner. She was so kind and friendly, told us their story and explained the menu items to us. She was awesome to my children. We ordered the hibachi steak and chicken with half rice, half noodles and veggies. It was delicious. The portions are large and filling. Kids meals are also a good portion. The staff was so friendly. We will definitely be dining here again.
When I first saw the place I was expecting more of a Japanese setting for when I walked in but instead felt like a knock off Japanese version of Panda Express. Next when I think Japanese food I kind of look for sushi and sashimi on the menu but saw none. Next when I saw Hibachi I kinda expected a teppanyaki-style dining experience but felt more like fast food. The chicken, shrimp and veggies had good flavor but the noodles were bland. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean and very well lit. Over all I would return but next time may try rice rather than noodles.
This is my husband’s and I’s favorite place! We come here often and can’t get enough. The ladies are always so nice and the portions are huge! Love the steak, shrimp, and rice!
I ordered the Premium steak with vegetables and combined rice and noodles. They give you two sauces that you mix together with your food. The food is absolutely delicious! We were surprised with the amount of meat they add to your plate for such a decent price. They take about 10 minutes more or less but food is freshly done. One plate might be enough for 2 people. This plate was only $13.99. The ladies in the front are very nice and helpful.
Really nice atmosphere and friendly service! Their chicken gyosas and mushroom poppers are delicious😋 I got the chicken and steak plate with only veggies and my husband got the steak and shrimp with brown rice and veggies! Would definitely recommend for you to try it out! And if you can't finish your meal, they're already in a box so packing up is quick and easy. Wait time wasn't long, about 10 min. Can't wait to come back😁
