I came to Zezi at Finer Things Tattoo with a vision: a cat, a crane, and the crescent moon - and some preconceptions about how they should come together. During our consultation, she listened carefully, then gently redirected the elements that didn’t align with her style. Rather than force my initial ideas, I chose to trust her creative freedom. That decision proved wise. Zezi is a classically-trained artist first, a tattooist second. That distinction matters. It shows in every line, every curve, every compositional choice in the five-inch round piece now on my chest. She incorporated the elements I requested, then added personal flair that elevated the work beyond what I’d imagined. Her hand is kind, attentive, intentional - qualities that translate directly into the ink. The result: a piece that fills me with pride and wonder every single time I see it. The studio itself mirrors this philosophy: clean, bright, almost austere at first glance. But linger, and you’ll notice the subtle beauty: fluffy feathers in vases, line art from past pieces adorning the walls. It’s a space that rewards attention, much like Zezi’s work itself. I cannot say enough good things about Zezi. I was getting a very meaningful tattoo that I had an idea of for years and she brought it to life. The design brought me to tears the first time I saw it! I will say the tattoo is an investment but just remember you are getting fine art put on your body! Her talent and technique are something I’ve never seen and worth every cent!! I constantly feel like I’m noticing a new detail in my tattoo every day since. I am so so happy I trusted Zezi to bring this to life for me. (Please ignore the poorly aged tattoo below her masterpiece 😅)
There is a reason Zezi and Finer Things Tattoo have a perfect 5.0 rating here on Google. Zezi is top notch. I requested a very custom landscape type piece with a small silhouette of my dog that passed and she absolutely nailed the design and then the actual execution of it. I am super pleased and excited to see it heal. This was my first tattoo and I don't think it could have gone better. Zezi is patient, listens to you, and ensures the tattoo is perfect. The studio is absolutely spotless, quiet, and very inviting. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you read some of the reviews here on Google you will see people traveling to the Seattle area to see her...and there's good reason for that. She is booked out a ways because she is so good so be sure to plan ahead.
This was my first tattoo and it was such a great experience. The studio was extremely clean, welcoming and ultimately a calming environment. Zezi’s design was everything I hoped and then some. I opted to be pretty hands off on the design process but the initial collaboration to align on my concept went smoothly. Being new to the process I felt she asked good clarifying questions when I was to ambiguous which I greatly appreciated. It helped me communicate better. Once in studio she offered enough time to make adjustments if necessary (I made no changes) and to get acquainted with your future piece before starting. Truly was a great experience.
Such a beautiful tattoo studio- with a great view! Could not be happier about my experience with Alyssa; she is so sweet and does an amazing job. I was doing research on tattoo artists in the area, and as soon as I saw Alyssa’s work, I knew she HAD to do mine. The studio is very clean and has a calm energy. Highly highly recommended Finer Things Tattoo and especially Alyssa!
