Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Winston-Salem was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was perfectly prepared, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. Our server, Royce, was amazing, attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Can’t wait to come back. Aggie Pride!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Me and my husband went here for a date night and overall, it was such a great experience. We got the garlic, roasted sirloin with an appetizer and crème brûlée cheesecake and everything was phenomenal. The steak was genuinely the best I had ever had. Thank you Firebirds for an amazing dinner!

Would be 5/5 had I not witnessed a manager be completely unprofessional in a situation regarding a request made by a patron. Me and my friend went in for lunch on 12/22/2025 and sat at the bar. Our bartender Bella was PHENOMENAL! Unfortunately while in the middle of a sentence me and my friend felt tension due to a manager, Melissa, lingering in the area. What we witnessed was unpleasant. Melissa berated Bella for a kitchen note that my friend had adamantly requested be added due to her own preferences. Bella handled this interaction professionally and with grace despite being undermined in front of her guests. My friend stepped in to take the “blame” for the request because of how distasteful the conversation was getting. Both me and my friend work in the service industry so it was very easy for us to pick up on the situation. Hopefully it was not as easy for other guests to pick up on because that, in my opinion, would be detrimental to this establishments reputation. Bella was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and personable. We will consider going back due to HER service but hope that the things we have left in our reviews are taken seriously. Managers should not speak to their staff in such an ugly and unprofessional way. If it weren’t for Bella, we would not return. I hope other managers see what a great addition Bella is to their team and work efficiently to see that this issue is resolved.

First time at this place and it was awesome. Our server Royce made our experience amazing!! If you're lucky to get him you won't be disappointed. Food and drinks were pretty good too!!! Definitely need to try the Philly cheese steak egg roll was AMAZING 😍

I'm new to the neighborhood and wanted to eat some steak. Longhorn in Winston-Salem had difficulty at their location so we went with plan B. I Google a steak location and this place showed up. We were seated quickly. Our waitress Ryan was super friendly and quick with service. When we got our order, the aged steak we order had more fat then meat and was displeased. We informed the manager who were very attentive will all the guest of this issue and they immediately took action and problem solved. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice and mellow. They also provide you with a warm towel to clean your hands. Will definitely return.
