Great organisation with passionate instructors. Besides health and fitness benefits of taekwondo training, many more of benefits include self confidence, self control, improved concentration, etc Also being a black belt/instructor of First Taekwondo South Australia, I attended Perth for a family holiday in early October 2025, and I decided to take the opportunity to train with Chief Instructor Dane at Beechboro Dojang, and State Senior Instructor Andrew at Bicton Dojang. Chief Instructor Dane, State Senior Instructor Andrew, and all the instructors and members that I trained with are all very friendly and welcoming, and the training was excellent. I highly recommend First Taekwondo Western Australia for those that are looking at learning the tradition style of Taekwondo.
We’ve been part of the First Taekwondo family for 4 years now, and it’s been an amazing journey. This organisation does so much more than teach martial arts, it helps build confidence, strength, and discipline in a really supportive and structured environment. The instructors are fantastic! They go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and encouraged, no matter your age or level. It’s not just a class, it’s a community. My son always has fun while learning, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the positive impact it’s had on him.
I have found all instructors and black belts highly skilled, passionate, patient and dedicated. My daughter, son, wife and I have trained with First Tae Kwon Do for many years and found it a great place to learn traditional martial arts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend first tae kwon do.
The depth and knowledge shown by all Instructors and Black Belt Assistants is impressive. All ages groups are welcomed and all skills levels catered to. I would definately recommend First Tae Kwon Do for anyone who wants to learn a traditional form of Self Defence
First Tae Kwon Do is a great place to learn traditional martial art under the direction of kind, enthusiastic and experienced instructors who lead by example in everything that they do. Students can expect to be educated not only in the art itself but to be instilled with values such as respect, self discipline and determination- principles that will stay with them forever. I would highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn Tae Kwon Do.
