Very poor communication, late to setup tent and dishonest about arrival time. Was told tent would be setup at 9am and they arrived at 12. Then pickup didn’t go well either. They asked if they could pick up the tent early (Sunday morning), to which I said no, as our contract was for picking up the tent on the Monday. They proceeded to reply, okay, we are picking up the tent on Sunday. I once again reminded them that our contract stated it would be picked up on the Monday and that our tent was still full of valuable rentals that I didn’t want them to handle or leave exposed to the elements. They did not reply to this email, so I assumed my point had been taken. They then showed up Sunday morning with no warning and proceeded to take down the tent with all of our rentals still in it. Leaving this review because we have already paid in full. Sure the tent was nice, but you will find better service elsewhere.

My fiance and I booked a tent and some equipment for our wedding on Sept. 1, 2024 (September long). We booked it pretty far out in advance, about a year. After running into some severe financial and family issues, we unfortunately had to cancel the wedding. This was about 11 months from the date. We had paid a $1,200 deposit, and thought since it was so far from the date and was a popular weekend (sure to rebook), that they would give us even a partial refund of our deposit. My fiancé called and basically begged them, saying we were desperate for the money. But after frequent follow- up, they just kept saying “they were reviewing the contract” and ultimately, never even had the courtesy to get back to us at all. A deposit is a deposit, but companies do make exceptions sometimes if they know they are likely going to make up for that revenue anyway. It was nearly a year in advance and on a popular summer long weekend. They have probably already booked that weekend. As mentioned, they don’t even have the courtesy or courage to tell us they would not do anything. I thought if they rebooked the date to another customer, we might hear from them but it’s been several months and still nothing. Just be aware of this company’s greedy, unprofessional, and opportunistic business practices.

The crew was quick, polite, fast. Great group of people you have working for you. The equipment was fantastic. Pricing was excellent. I was very impressed all around. For as last minute as my event was,this part went super smoothly. Thank you Flatland equipment!!

We rented tents, tables and chairs from Flatland Equipment for a community BBQ we were having with work and they were wonderful! From the first correspondence to the last they were courteous and answered all inquiries I had within 24 hours of receiving an email. There was a mix-up with one of the tents not being delivered which they rectified immediately and were back on-site within an hour with the other tent. Also, their crew were onsite early, courteous and incredibly helpful. All interactions with the crew were positive. I would and have been recommending Flatland Equipment for any event!

We needed event tents unexpectedly and reached out to a few other options with no success. Once I found them they were able to accommodate our needs the very next day. We required the tents for several days and they accommodated everything, even left one of the employees contact info with us in the event we had any issues. There were some high winds and they were excellent coming to monitor the tents and address any issues caused by the wind. Great customer service!
