I am a bit surprised by the negative reviews. Place is great. Neat and clean equipment, good prices and the kids love it. A great way to burn off some energy when its rainy / hot. Parties are catered well too.

As a nanny I have frequented Flipout many times. The Wednesday price is best and flipout is overall best when not busy. I'd recommend for kids 2 to 6, good for rainy days. Flipout has recently changed the 0-4yrs area for the better, with more toys suited for littles. The venue also has a much needed gate at the entrance that can now prevent run aways!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great venue, but disappointing service. Flip Out Charlestown is an awesome place with plenty of fun zones and great energy for kids to burn off some steam. However, the experience was let down a bit by the staff — they didn’t seem very welcoming or interested in helping first-timers understand how everything works. Most of them were chatting among themselves rather than engaging with guests. Also, being forced to buy their own branded socks felt unnecessary and a bit frustrating — it just puts a dampener on the visit. Overall, it’s a great venue with loads of potential, but the service and that sock policy definitely took away from the experience.

Fairly new so there are a few things to sort out (like a shoe stand for example). Nice and big space to explore with plenty of options for bigger kids to choose from. Play area for toddlers available too. We spent an hour in there. Toilets were close to the play area which was easily accessible.

We went to Flip Out Junior Charlestown today and my 3 year old had a blast. It is so clean, tidy and well maintained. There is so much for the little ones to do without fear of the bigger kids tumbling them over. By far the best indoor play area in the Newcastle area. The staff are so friendly and attentive and plenty of room for the adults to sit and keep an eye on the kids. We will absolutely be back!
