I’ve been coming here for over a decade. You will not find better Chinese food in Oakland. The helpings are generous, the price is very reasonable, and the service by the two women who run tbe floor is impeccable. They’ll let you know when you’re ready, remind you to visit more, they absolutely rock- and shout outs to the husbands in the kitchen who make the food as awesome as it is.
The food here is just delicious. We’ve had many things on the menu and the quality and consistency is top-notch. Don’t be fooled by the modest interior, and the owner is quite friendly too.
Delicious and wonderful food with good portion sizes, flavorful spices, and friendly staff. Very vegetarian friendly too!
We love getting take out from the Flower Lounge. They have the best hot and sour soup in the Bay Area, that includes chicken and shrimp. We love their fried rice and we regular get a vegetable. All the vegetables taste fresh and are cooked perfectly. The staff is very thoughtful. I don’t think they have an order system, you just have to call in, but it’s definitely worth it.
The restaurant is definitely no frills. Looks like it mainly caters to take out. The staff is very friendly. We got the chow mein which was good and came quickly. We also got the lemon shrimp which was pretty standard. The rice was sub par. It was kinda stale. The dumplings were pretty good. We also got the pot stickers which were huge and probably too similar to the dumplings. The price was definitely right. Cost half as much as eating out at almost any other restaurant.
