I joined JKL Studio two years ago to learn the flute, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’m incredibly grateful for my teacher, Kerry—she’s been patient, supportive, and truly inspiring. I’ve seen so much improvement in my playing and always look forward to our lessons. The studio itself is such a lovely, welcoming space, and I always have a great time there. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn and grow in a fun and encouraging environment!
Kerry created a great environment for me to pick up flute again after a very very long hiatus from playing. Her approach allowed me to build confidence and most importantly enjoy playing again. A brilliant teacher and I'd highly recommend to anyone looking to learn!
I've had such a great experience learning with Kerry on the flute. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. Her teaching style has helped me improve my technique and confidence so much. Lessons are always productive and enjoyable—I’ve grown so much thanks to her guidance. Highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn or improve on the flute!
My 2 autistic kids, have been getting lessons for nearly a year now and they both love kerry to bits, they embrace her easily and are trusting of her, usually they take a while to open up to new people but that hasnt been an issue. She teaches at a pace they are happy with and always engages with them and hears them out when they start going of on a tangent. My kids are learning well and are always excited for class and enjoy practicing at home as well. Kerrys bright attitude, passion for music and teaching shines through and that's what helps push my kids forward. Even though they haven't had lesson from Jacopo we have met him and some of his students, they always say how great and dedicated his is a teacher and every time we have met him he has always been kind and friendly and has shares that same passion for music as kerry. If you get a chance to get lessons or even to go see one of their JKL DUO shows then I highly recommend it as they are great musicians as well as teachers.
My child has been having piano lessons with Kerry since 2021. Kerry is the best piano teacher we’ve had so far. We’ve been to three different teachers. Kerry is the most professional and friendly of the three. Kerry is calm, knowledgeable and has helped my child to love music and in the process my child has achieved grade two. Kerry often offers interesting experiences such as recording in a studio, introducing new music to listen to and more. I highly recommend Kerry as a music teacher!
