Denyse did a fantastic job on my scalp facial! What a relaxing process. She has amazing expertise as a hair stylist and with scalp facials. She really helped me understand the issues I was having with my scalp, and gave me clear direction on how to help alleviate some of my itchiness. Not only was the scalp facial great for the health of my scalp, but it was so relaxing as well. If your favorite part of getting your hair done is the shampoo, then you will be in heaven with this service.
Abbey did an absolutely incredible job. I am generally not that knowledgable about hair, and never really know what to ask for in a hair cut. I gave her the vaguest “make me look pretty, keep it long, but I know a lot needs to come off to make it healthier.” She asked some clarifying questions, and got to work. I walked out with Kate Middleton hair. I look incredible, I feel incredible, my hair even looks less grey! I swear I look 5-10 years younger, but in the best way. I think this might be the best hair cut I’ve ever had, my husband even keeps making comments, and we’re 2 days and a wash post hair cut. She also took the time to explain some of the science behind hair and hair products to help me understand why some of the things I was doing was having the opposite effect of what I was going for. She is the first hair stylist to identify my hair has texture, can’t wait to start that journey with her and find out what it is my hair naturally wants to do so I can lean into that more, but at the level of effort I’ll realistically do. Plus, Abbey is an absolute vibe.
Abigail is master of her craft!! She asked all the right questions and made me feel really comfortable before cutting. I loved that she talked me through what she was thinking and made sure we were on the same page. I’ve moved around the country a lot, and finding a new hairstylist is always nerve-wracking. I know I like razor cuts because they bring out my natural texture, so I specifically searched for that, and I’m so glad it led me to Abigail. My hair turned out exactly how I hoped, and I left feeling so happy with it. Plus, the whole salon had such a welcoming vibe. I’m glad I get to add to the reviews that helped me find her. She’s a gem!
I have super curly hair that I’m still learning to manage and Carson has been super helpful in teaching me about my hair. She's also done different color styles on me and I have always left feeling and looking my best! Carson cares about my hair as if it were her own, when talking about color she was honest and kind about what would look best and the best plan of action to keep my hair healthy. All the staff here are so nice and welcoming and I highly recommend this place. Many of my coworkers go here as well and we all sit at work talking about how we love Freya Salon
Izzie has been cutting & dying my hair for almost 3 years now and is the only stylist I trust with my hair. She actively listens to me (and my anxiety’s about haircuts) and fosters a welcoming environment in her chair. She got my box dyed black hair to a beautiful red color and maintained it as red for the last three years. Along with this, my hair has never been healthier! She is an amazing hair stylist and I cannot recommend her enough for cutting & dye.
