We’ve gone to Gadget Guru several times over the last few years to repair gaming consoles, computers, and restore old electronics (a 25 year old stereo!). I appreciate the clear explanations of their process, and timely updates. They’ve consistently provided excellent service (and in the case of my stereo, they delivered a miracle)! I highly recommend them!
Went in because the left stick on my PlayStation Portal was broken. Decided to get both sticks replaced with hall effects for a total of $120. They both work perfectly! My device was ready in 2 days. I also received 2 thumb grips at no additional cost. Thank you so much to Kiki & Jonny for their help! They were so nice! (Before-After)
I came in to the housing of my New 3DS XL replaced to be all white. They were able to finish it in only 3 days, and, while the replacement parts I provided were not perfect fits, they were able to replace almost everything with full functionality. It looks great and definitely a job that I would not have been able to do as well myself.
I’ve taken my PS5 to three different repair shops before, and every single time the HDMI port ended up breaking again within 2–3 months. This time I went to Gadget Guru, and the difference was clear right away. They fixed my HDMI port properly, everything feels solid, and the console is working perfectly again. What really impressed me is that they even gave me a 1-month warranty, which shows they stand behind their work. Overall, very professional, honest, and reliable. I finally found a place I can trust for console repairs. Highly recommended!
Nice people, no complaints there but turnaround times and updates are terrible. I brung a PS5 in for a diagnostic/cleaning that was potentially causing overheating in which I had to bring it in about 2-3 times with the same issue persisting when I picked it up the first time they hardly cleaned it as one of the techs actually said themselves. I further take it and disassemble it with what tools I have and see that it was still needing a cleaning but for a few days was now running smoothly, fast forward the problem occurs again they've held the system for at least 10+ days no updates, nothing. It doesn’t even looked like it was opened this time. I brung it to there attention of the likely problems it could be and barely looks like any action was took. Edit: YES I love that you guys responded, you in fact did not replace a fan nor heat sink as I still have the original DIRTY one in the system? You also further proved my point as you didn't clean the system but pointed out what was caked in it after I asked for a cleaning as well..NICE. Which I was just better off doing myself. I’ve also only had the system worked on one time prior to you guys for a completely different part of the system as i chipped a HDMI so blaming them when nothing was at fault until recent is a poor business move to save yourself reviews. And finally you thought to speak to the main tech AFTER holding the system for almost a total of 3 weeks so far so yes Gadget Guru you are indeed who to blame as i did discuss and hear you guys out NUMEROUS times. And since you replaced the parts without making me aware where are those parts then? Look at the application of the putty and you really thought to blame was the right move.
