Still as great as the first time I went. Today I visited Gametime after a good while and I can happily say, that it’s still the best arcade in Miami in my book. I went with a friend and it was her first time there and even she agreed with that. she loved it!. Not just the game but the promos are amazing, the food is great, and the service is very sweet. The manager Ms. Ariel is one of the sweetest people I’ve met this year I hope she gets a well-deserved raise for taking care of this place. And while maybe two or 3 machine might be broken, that’s just a problem that every arcade has so I don’t think the place has any major issues. If anything, the only issue would be to close this Miami landmark. I really hope the people in charge of remodeling Sunset Place read this and consider keeping GameTime alive. It would be a shame if it left. I feel like with a little more marketing, this place could be as popular again as it was in the 2000s (when it was GameWorks). And I think they’re doing a great job with what they have cuz I saw a very big amount of people the day I visited. And while it wasn’t a huge amount like you’d see at a Dave and busters, it’s quite impressive considering the fact that it’s located in a deserted mall and yet it still manages to get a lot of customers. That should tell you that’s it’s really worth it. I thought it was closing by the end of the year but I’m glad I was wrong and I will be looking forward to go as much as I can in 2026. This place is very special to me and I hope people can see what I see in it and the people who work there. Let’s keep GameTime alive man. And let’s give Sunset Place some love again :) P.S. Some of the machines here are so unique and creative I LOVE IT (two driver system cars, connect 4 basketball, VR FPS, even pool tables that you can use with your play card! That’s freaking awesome.
I visited Game Time recently and, unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. There are no servers here, which already makes things inconvenient, you have to go to the bar to order everything yourself. When we went to do so, the bartender immediately yelled that our child couldn’t sit at the bar, even though we never intended to sit there. Their tone was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, setting a negative tone right away. After finally placing our order, we specifically requested grilled, yet were served fried instead. No apology, no correction, just indifference. To make matters worse, since there are no servers, we couldn’t find anyone to bring us basic necessities like utensils, napkins, or refills. We had to repeatedly get up from our table in the middle of our meal and go back to the bar to ask for everything ourselves. The entire experience felt chaotic and poorly managed. The staff seemed disengaged, the system was disorganized, and there was no sense of hospitality or attention to guests. It made what should have been a simple, enjoyable outing feel stressful and unpleasant. I sincerely hope management reconsiders how this place operates and trains staff on basic customer service and professionalism. As it stands, I cannot recommend Game Time, and I would strongly caution families or anyone expecting even a minimal level of service.
A wide assortment of games that spans 2 floors. We utilized the $15 Thursday Promo that includes 5hrs of play time (it is limited to blue games, not red, and you cant win tickets or prizes) We also ordered the chicken tender platter for $35 we got a bunch of tenders (the honey mustard is made in house + its awesome). The fries are like a curly fry/ potato wedge hybrid + they were actually pretty good. My steak sandwich came with plenty of meat + a yummy horseradish sauce, definitely worth trying
I absolutely recommend this place! The food was a delightful discovery—truly delicious. The burgers were of exceptional quality and exceeded my expectations. The guacamole bites were a must-try, perfectly complementing the experience. Additionally, the ambiance inside with a game room was fantastic.
Scam and horrible place. This place is a complete robbery and very uneducated people. Not one is here to help you, when you are trying to buy your card with time or credit. The machine offer you to buy time and add extra time. The card freeze every time not allowing you to play on a timer matter. When you are playing with time (only available a few machines) machines are telling you that you are getting 15 tickets 100 tickets 500 tickets when you go to the counter they tell you, when you are with time play you don't get tickets. My kids all excited ready to change and/ I am Hispanic and i approach a lady for help with my card to check, (She was a dark skin woman) she act like she did not listened to me. Even racist employees at this place, with the worst customer services. The manager when I approach her explaining her the situation, she was acting like everything was correct. . I will never come to this place ever again. I don't care about the gift for my kids, but I care about how disappoint they got by not having tickets and the incorrect business model (selling gaming services without the proper guidelines and someone to help you) .... Today is Saturday October 15 2022. After 6 pm. Go to better places
