4.5 Stars from me! I've used several of the studios to rehearse for upcoming dance performances and have been in a small event. Each studio is a different size and is great in their own right. There's nice floors (the type varies by room), big mirrors, and great acoustics / soundproofing. There's pianos in several rooms, and there's even a tiny room where someone could easily practice an instrument. My only complaint is that the parking lot is small and more difficult to maneuver through. If you have a bigger vehicle or there are no more parking spots, then you have park along the street (which is free, thankfully).
Wow!! Can't speak highly enough about how great this studio space is - it's beautiful and clean, reasonably priced, so easy to book and access. 10/10 will be booking again. We used Studio #8 for a dance lesson and it was perfect for a small group of people. Very glad to have such a fantastic community space in Houston!
Booked Studio 8 to rehearse a choral piece and choreography with my wedding party members. The acoustics were great, the piano was in tune and there were plenty of chairs and music stands available. Café downstairs was a convenient option for lunch. Only minor complaint is that the space has floor to ceiling windows on two sides of the room, and even with the day being overcast and pretty cool outside, it was getting very warm in there by the end of the day. But that might have had something to do with the dancing. Parking is pretty limited so if you have a large group I recommend renting a van or carpooling as much as possible. Overall, I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices are extremely reasonable. If I need a rehearsal space in the future I will most likely book them again.
I moved from NYC and these rehearsal and performance spaces rival anything New York has to offer - especially at these prices! There’s a brand new Steinway B in the big room with the beautiful window! Thank you to the owner and his wonderful staff - so glad I found this place here! ❤️❤️❤️
Was here for my girl's daughters final recital. The performances were great. Loved every single one. Plus, this is huge for all the students involved. I'm really not trying to be biased. But, I think my potential stepdaughter killed it. But I felt I had to deduct a star for the fashionably late tutor. Sorry, if you're gonna say the show starts at 11, start at 11, and show the students punctuality. But I didn't deduct any stars since the tutor has really nothing to do with the studio itself.
