Had notice of a suspected gas leak. Phoned Gasworks on the Sunday. Someone was out and problem solved by 2pm on the Monday afternoon. (They actually offered to come out on the Sunday, but I had to go out so declined). Terrific service, very highly recommended.
Gasworks charged us £120 for a 10 minute call out but did not confirm this cost before coming. We were very disappointed they were not upfront about this especially as they say everything will be explained upfront on their website and that there are no hidden costs. We chose not to proceed with them as we felt we were mislead. They have ignored our calls and messages when we queried the charge. The engineer seemed nice and professional we would have gone with them but they completely lost our trust as a result of this.
I booked Gasworks intially to service a boiler, however after 16yr years it was beyond its shelf life and unserviceable. Adam was very professional and provided different options and advice. I opted for a new boiler at a very competitive price. Adam and his colleague returned within a week to fit the new boiler and flue. They flushed the system, fitted the carbon monoxide alarm and removed the old boiler and all the rubbish. Warranty included. Fantastic experience and would recommend highly.
Great service by Adam Bird. He came to service my fireplace at short notice. He was very professional, tidy and knowledgeable. I will definitely use him in future without hesitation.
