Caleb was the perfect DJ for our wedding at TPC Sawgrass. We were able to provide an inspo playlist, and he took it the rest of the way. Multiple people commented on how great the music selection was from cocktail hour all the way to the dance floor! Several months after our wedding, we are still amazed at how perfectly Caleb was able to capture the vibe we wanted and match energies throughout the night. Caleb truly made our wedding. He goes above and beyond a typical DJ, he kept the entire night flowing seamlessly. His attention to detail made all the difference, from the lighting to the sound, everything elevated the experience. He really listened to our music preferences, and it honestly felt like we were at our own private festival. We actually had to kick people off the dance floor at the end of the night because the music was so good! Caleb is also just a genuine person and an absolute professional. I would highly recommend Caleb and the Generation Y team for any wedding or event! Caleb describes himself as a “non-cheesy” DJ and this was definitely our experience working with him! From the very beginning he took the time to get to know us as a couple and helped us personalize parts of the reception based on our interests! He is very professional, approachable, organized, and detail-oriented so we were very confident he would keep the party going all night long. He takes a lot of pride in what he does and was very invested in helping make our day special. He did an excellent job introducing our bridal party and announcing all the activities like speeches, parent dances, and anniversary dance in a very natural way during the reception. He has a great taste in music and really took the time to understand the type of music we wanted to be played during the reception for both ourselves and our guests. As a result he kept the dance floor packed all night and our guests of all ages were raving about how much they enjoyed the music!! He also had a great sense of timing for when to play certain types of songs. For example, we had “Country Roads” on our must-play list and Caleb decided to play it towards the end of the night. It brought all our guests together singing along with their arms around each other and created one of the most wholesome moments of the night. It also set up the final song perfectly! Since my husband and I are both Clemson alumni and we had a lot of our Clemson friends in attendance, we planned for the last song to be Tiger Rag which Caleb went out of his way to make sure he could play for us. Throughout the whole process Caleb genuinely cared about our day and worked hard to ensure that our wedding sounded exactly like we dreamed it would. We are so grateful to Caleb for helping us throw such an amazing party and create memories that will last a lifetime with all our family and friends!!

From the very first conversation, Caleb made the entire experience effortless. He took the time to ask exactly what the bride and groom wanted, and then delivered on every single request! From the moment the reception began, Caleb managed the entire flow with such ease and professionalism from the speeches, the first dances, the cake cutting, the party on the dance floor, and all the way through to the most magical sendoff at the end of the night. We splurged on the add-ons , a live drummer and a sax player, and I cannot overstate how incredible they were. The energy they brought to the dance floor was electric, and our guests absolutely loved every second of it. We did the cold fireworks for the exit and they were absolutely breathtaking. The photos from that moment alone were worth every penny. What truly set Caleb apart was how seamlessly everything ran. There wasn’t a single awkward pause or missed cue the entire evening. Every transition felt intentional, every song felt perfectly placed, and the dance floor was packed all night long. Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had. There are nothing but great things to say about GYE/Caleb. From beginning to end, it was a wonderful experience to work with him. One of our top priorities when starting wedding planning was to find a DJ who would set the tone for the party and from our first call we could tell Caleb was the guy. He has a very collaborative approach when it comes to music and worked with us to find a right balance of the vibe we wanted for our party. Not only that, he gave great advice and direction when it came to the overall flow of events and timeline of the ceremony and reception. We felt confident leaning into his expertise. He made sure everything from the ceremony to the toasts, dinner, dances, etc. flowed seamlessly. We had a large crowd (160+) and there was not one moment the dance floor wasn't packed. We gave Caleb a wide range of music styles - from oldies to club hits, reggaeton, salsa, pop punk and more - and he balanced the party perfectly and always kept the energy up. Lastly, he is just a lovely person to work with and we could tell he truly cared about making sure we had the best experience on our wedding day. We could not recommend him enough!
