Was in Wichita this past weekend and wanted a nice gym with amenities. Genesis on Rock Road hit it out of the park. #1- I was impressed with the workout equipment. Free weights were great and plentiful, cable machines of all types, and some free movement cable machines that were awesome. Plenty of cardio equipment for those that want it. The men's locker room was really nice. The hot tub is huge with a cold plunge right next to it. The sauna was smoking hot on day 1, not as much on day 2. However, the steam room was rolling on day 2. Also enjoyed the ping pong table with my wife. Great facility.
It is a great facility with top notch tennis courts. All the tennis coaches especially Eva and Zach are phenomenal. I enrolled in a play tennis fast course a few years ago and learned how to hold a racket and the basics of the game from tennis pros. Since then my love for the game has only grown. I went from watching tennis to actually playing it thanks to Coach Zach and Eva. I have since then introduced my husband to it too. We enjoy playing tennis at genesis.
We love the whole team at Genesis Tennis - we have worked with every tennis pro during drills, private lessons and kids training activities - they are like family to us! Definitely the best tennis coaching in Wichita, hands down. All the coaches love to see their kids improve and grow, and it always shows in their hard work to make great programming. Eva, the junior director, does a tremendous job growing the junior academy! This place is always super busy - there is always a fun drill, people to meet or a chance to snag a court and play.
My son has been taking lessons and playing with the Junior tennis department for the past 3 years. He has had tremendous growth in his game and he has enjoyed the youth tennis community that plays together at this location. Eva Castiglioni does a great job running the department and creating wonderful and fun opportunities for young tennis players to grow their game. My son has been taking private lessons from Kaey Den Tan. He says that Kaey Den not only helps improve his strokes and footwork but he helps with his mental game and just being an all around better person. We are so glad we found this facility to inspire our son’s goal of playing tennis at a higher level.
Love the tennis/ tennis coaches at Genesis Rock Road. James, Eva, Nicki, Zach, Vini, & Karlo are some of the best and make it engaging & fun …the other coaches pitch in when needed and also keep the energy flowing… . My favorite is the cardio tennis classes giving you a great workout with focused & fun exercises playing with other great players and people ! Highly recommend …give it a try, you will be glad you joined us! Love our cardio tennis coaches & people !! Facility is great and offers other classes… yoga, Pilates, weight strength with saunas, hot tubs, cold plunge , massage chairs and much more … barely have time to explore all there is to offer at this club. All the machines …. Location can’t be beat !!
