Please Stay far away from this place . My car has been here since Oct 22 and it is still not ready , they continue to give us the run around date has changed so many times with no valid reason, they are causing us so much stress , anxiety and money . I have never experienced anything like this before dealing with auto repairs, especially something that could have been completed a month ago. There are NEVER any workers to do their job it’s ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I had to take my car for auto body repairs due to two separate collisions over the last couple of years. Fortunately, however, Gerber Collision was amazing! Professional service, kept me informed throughout the repair process, and did spectacular work repairing my car to look like new! They even washed and vacuumed my car. They are truly the best in town!

Over the years I've had the misfortune several times to need auto body shop work done. My go-to source for that is Gerber Collision on Carrolton. Gerber has always been professional and straightforward in solving my problems. They also have a relationship with my insurance company which greatly facilitates the claims process with no hassles. I just pay my deductible, and they take care of all the paperwork. Gerber provides a lifetime warranty on all work they do, a perk I had occasion to need when a prior repair of vandalism to the roof of my car failed and had to be redone. It was a complicated process that took considerable time, but manager Christian Priola steadfastly stuck with it to deal with each new surprise hitch and overcome it. The receptionists, Ashlyn and Nickie, were always courteous and pleasantly helpful in getting me in touch with Christian for updates on progress. Getting collision work done is obviously stressful for the car owner, but I feel I'm in good hands when Gerber is on the job for me.

I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Gerber Collision last week. After bringing my truck in with concerns about its safety, I was told by Christian that this must be my first truck and my first time driving the roads around here instead of receiving a thorough and respectful inspection. This dismissive and misogynistic remark was not only inappropriate, but it also revealed a lack of concern for my safety. Gerber reported nothing wrong with my truck. However, when I took it to the dealership, they found that both front wheel hub assemblies needed to be replaced immediately. Driving it in that condition could have been dangerous. Instead of addressing the actual mechanical issues, I was talked down to and made to feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially when it puts customer safety at risk. I would strongly caution anyone, especially women, against trusting this location with their vehicle.

BEWARE – Terrible service and dishonest behavior. My name is Qihua, and I had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience with this auto repair shop. I brought my 2024 Toyota Sienna here TWICE after accidents — both times were arranged through my insurance. The first time was in 2024 for a small repair on the trunk door. It wasn’t perfect, but I let it go. The second time was after a major accident in April 2025. I picked up my car just two days ago — and now a panel underneath the car has already fallen off (I have pictures to prove it). I returned to the shop immediately, and instead of taking accountability, they blamed me, saying I must have hit a pothole. That is absolutely not true. Nothing hit the bottom of the car, and this clearly shows poor workmanship. To make things worse, my power bank (which was stored in the driver-side compartment) is now missing. I was told they “don’t know” where it went and the technician is “on vacation.” This is unacceptable. I feel completely lied to and disrespected. The staff showed zero accountability and very unprofessional attitudes. The only reason I used this shop is because it was recommended by my insurance company — but I deeply regret that choice now. I will be filing a formal complaint with my insurance company and continue taking further action. To anyone considering this shop: BE CAREFUL. This place has caused me more stress than the accident itself.
