Wade at Gingerbread man bakery was so helpful and kind! He helped me pick out a delicious Vegan birthday cake for my daughter’s 40th surprise birthday party! My daughter said the cake was delicious! I also purchased an Oatmeal cookie and a pop tart that she enjoyed as well! We will definitely use Gingerbread Man Bakery again!

My fiance and I visited all the way from Charlotte a few days ago to celebrate our friend's daughter's birthday. The first thing I noticed when I entered were the huge (by some other place's standards) cake pops and the TV with the cat on it playing some very relaxing lo-fi. Katie was amazing and very helpful and informative. She was also great with our friend's daughter. Wade, the owner, came in and interacted with some other customers that were there. When they left I went up to the counter to order some things and struck up a very engaging conversation with Wade and then my partner joined in later to chat. We tried the cloud cake ice cream which was delicious. It was kinda like cotten candy mixed with birthday cake with a touch of pineapple. The birthday cake pop (bar) was also great with a wonderful texture. We got to take home banana pudding cookies and the cookie butter cookie. The banana pudding was super soft with a texture like a very soft oatmeal cookie with phenomenal flavor. We heated up the cookie butter cookie a little and halved it to enjoy together. Also delicious. My partner said we should go all the way back to Winston just to buy a whole box worth of those cookies, they were that good. The prices were fair, the food and atmosphere were awesome, and the people that run it are amazing. Thank you both for a wonderful experience and we hope to visit again some day in the near future.

Came here on New Years day and was completely floored. We had the giant gingerbread man cookie sandwich, cupcakes, banana pudding cookie, and the Christmas tree cakes. Everything was so good. The cookies are the perfectly spiced chewy deliciousness you want. The cupcakes were flavorful and well balanced. The owner was so kind and friendly as well! It was a wonderful experience and we cant wait to go back!

You may pay a little more than the grocery bakeries, but you'll get Delicious baked goods made with the best ingredients. Katie provided the nicest service and was very patient as the grandchildren picked out their favorites. The atmosphere is sweet, and clean as a whistle. Well worth it.

As I love sweet treats and husband's vegan, we stopped in to see if this was a place we could add to our "Make both of us happy" list — 110%! Exceeded expectations. We tried two cupcakes and a cookie sandwich, all delicious, fresh, and unique. I love that the flavors are rotating and that there are your traditional and your "Ohhhh, didn't know that could be a flavor!" options. And for a bonus, we also got to try a biscuit not yet on the menu but coming soon; we can't wait to return to try them. It's been a challenge to find vegan biscuits in Winston much to hub's deep sadness so this is very exciting! We chatted with the owner Wade for a good bit and it was immediately obvious how much he cares about his store, product, customers, and community. It's in an adorable location in an adorable area (and right next to Ardmore Coffee). If you want yummy + feel goods for supporting a deserving small business, highly recommend Ginger Bread Man Bakery! I'm not vegan and loved it; hubs has been vegan for 8 years and loved it.
