I’ve been getting my nails done for years and this is probably the worst experience I've had. My first time being in there, the staff was nice and I was seated quickly. But I was in there for 2 hours just for a fill-in. The nail tech cut my finger and it started bleeding. She just wiped off the blood with her finger with no gloves on. She continued to spray acetone multiple times on the cut, leaving it stinging. The sides of my nails were left jagged and I had sticky builder get all over my hands from it being on hers. They also charged me to cut down my nails and to “reshape” when I was getting the same shape. I’ve never been charged to reshape for the same shape and cut down, as it should be part of the service. As it always is included. So the price was outrageous. I’m not one to make a scene and not pay the service I was going in there for so I didn’t ask for a discount. I will never recommend anyone to this nail salon with the experience I had, nor will I be going back myself.
I can’t believe it’s been a year since I started coming here! I always go to either Son or Rosie. I mostly go to Rosie (I prefer a woman AND her work is almost always flawless). I started to going to Son (his work is also almost always flawless) but I tried Rosie one day when he was unavailable and now I always go to her. Their work is verrrrrrrry similar so either one will get you right! 💅🏽 *I painted the red nails myself BUT Rosie’s application was flawless which helps them look super pretty ❤️ The blue French tips were done by Rosie, I just wanted to show how well they lasted. I usually go once a month to pinch pennies and my sets always last well from Both Son and Rosie 🙌🏾
I’ve gone to Glitz and Glam for years. Specifically I go for Christina because she is fantastic at what she does! She’s meticulous and detailed even with simple polish changes. When I have done intricate designs she’s a master of her craft! The nails she did for my wedding are awesome inspiring. Would definitely recommend Christina!!!
SON IS THE BEST!!! I’ve been coming every 3-4 weeks faithfully since March. Every set has been different and a 10/10. The designs, 3D, french tip, line art, airbrush. etc.. HE HAS MASTERED EVERY SET!!! He has great customer service and we have a good laugh every time. He makes me comfortable and is super patient with me. I appreciate and look forward to every appointment with him. He’s like a brother from another mother 😅 thank you always, Son @ Glitz&Glam
I came to Glitz and Glam to get my nails done before my vacation. I booked with Nancy after seeing positive reviews online. I asked for SNS french tips. As my appointment went on I noticed that the tips were thick, and uneven and I thought she would go back to fix them but it was too late. Feeling anxious to speak up, I left my appointment unhappy and I tried to find reasons to like my nails. The next day, I called the salon asking for a refund or to have someone else fix them. They informed me they do not do refunds (which is fine, I get it) but someone else could fix them. I came in the next day and they told me they could not fix it but they could paint over my nails (which I was also fine with). They fixed my nails, but I still had to pay an additional $25 for the gel polish they used. I didn’t think I had to pay for them to fix the mistake but what was I gonna say, no? This experience left me with a sour taste in my mouth and I honestly don’t want to come back again.
