So, I must have driven past this place along the 405 North dozens of times and always thought it would be cool to check out. We'll, a Team Building experience led us to this location and the opportunity to experience it finally happened. Lets set expectations up front, this is not a K1 place with modern cars and fancy tracks, this is the OG style of 1980's Gocart style and this is one of the places to have that old school experience. After signing the standard "its your own fault" waiver, you enter the main hall which has a bunch of old school "claw-grab" machines with all different prize types. There are a few shooter video games and some air hockey. There are alsoway over priced vending machines ( bring your own bottled water.) One of the cool things about this place is that its not just for adults, there are also kiddie carts and tracks for children. There are height requirements that must be met for safety, but its super cool there is a place for "littles" to zoom around. For the adults there are three tracks, there is the "Drifting Track," a more "Formula One" style track with smaller lanes, and then there is the main track which is the longest and most fun in my opinion. Each track manages the carts and times so you know whos first and how fast at the end of the race. While the establishment is older, the carts and track all seem well maintained and everything runs well. The only issue I had with the experience was the design of the carts. They are very deep and difficult to get in and out of, but thats the nature of "old-school" gocarts. The group that i went with had a great time over two hours and by the end everyone was more than satisfied. It gets hot in the late morning amd afternoon, so we were sweating by the time we were done, I might consider returning in late afternoon or early evening when the sun is setting. Maybe even a little evening racing would be cool to do.
Our go to spot! Thanks to the workers for they have patience with the kids...... Whenever you need to relieve some stress, this is the place! I spend at least $100 on rides and tokens for games.. I like to go at least an hour before they close so it'll be just my little family and the workers. My lil 7 year old is now tall enough to drive on her own and that was an awesome experience for her. Thanks Go Kart World! See you on the weekends 😁
Stay away from this place! Went on Saturday 12/20/25 expecting to have a great time with my children and left pissed off. First they look for any reason to ban you from a track. My son was hit from behind and it caused him to spin out and he was banned. When trying to speak with staff they’re extremely rude. The karts are old my daughter complained of the kart being difficult to stop. The game room smells horrible! Paid for wristbands but left after 30 mins. Don’t waste your money here. The bad reviews are true. First time going here and will never return.
READ THIS SO YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT! We arrived and were given kids’ go-karts to ride, which we barely fit into. They do have good go-karts, but to ride them, you have to pass an on-site test, sign papers in different parts of the facility with different people, and then go to the reception so they can scan your physical driver’s license (which I didn’t want to do). After that, they issue their own local driver’s license at the front desk. The whole process took one hour 🤯. It totally killed the mood — we were really disappointed. We only got to ride the good go-karts twice (once per hour), which is all that’s included in the 2-hour ticket package. Think about whether it’s worth paying $65 just to sign paperwork for an hour so you can ride twice. At all other places, you don’t need to get a driver’s license to ride good go-karts, and the karts aren’t any less powerful (speaking from my own experience).
Such a fun place to spend an evening as a family. Everyone, ages 6-40, had a blast. The staff were friendly. They cared about safety, but also gave space and coaching our younger kid who was learning. 10+/10. Worth the drive.
