We had an absolutely wonderful time! Lavert was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. His expertise made us feel completely comfortable and confident while taking the boat out. This experience was truly memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend it for date nights, family outings, or a fun day out with friends, it’s perfect for any occasion!

I would still rate this a 5 star although there is room for improvement. First, the staff is awesome! Everyone who helped us was super friendly and helpful. They were on time and we did not have to wait for our time slot. The area of the river which you can go about is not too big but enough to go around and around and enjoy for an hour. I would think it would be boring any longer than that. It was nice that there was a top cover for the boat since it was hot and sunny the day we went. The only downside was that I wish they kept the boats in better condition. When we went, after the previous group got out, they did not clean the boat at all. And when we got in, there were crumbs and stains on the floor, seats and table. So that just made me a bit uncomfortable. Also, the life vest weren't clean either. I know they all have this smell which is just how it is, but there were dirt and stuff on it which made me didn't want to use it. There is a public restroom/bathroom near the dock which was fine to use.

I snagged a deal on Groupon and thought what a great way to celebrate my mom's birthday! Although the representative had a small hiccup with the original arrival time, he was very apologetic upon meeting and our time did not start until we were pushed away from the dock. It is a great activity to spend time with family in a private way with the beautiful views of Washington DC. The boat goes about 5 mph max, so it is not difficult to steer. Also, love that it's BYOF & BYOB. Will definitely be booking again next summer!

5 Stars! We had the most amazing experience with GoBoat at The Wharf DC to celebrate my mom’s 55th birthday! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed and celebrated. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and Jermaine truly went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. The views were beautiful, the boat was easy to navigate, and the peaceful ride made for such a special and memorable day. Thank you, GoBoat, for helping us create such a meaningful birthday experience. We’ll definitely be back!
