I switched to this gym since open and have had a great experience here compared to others around the city. From day one, the atmosphere has always been welcoming and energetic. The facilities are clean, filled with everything needed for a great workout, while the equipment is well-maintained. What sets this location from others is the friendly staff, always there to provide a helping hand. They work hard to make this gym stand out and it shows. Special shoutout to Alaina and Gloria for their always great customer service and enthusiastic energy. They're always ready to provide support and make members feel comfortable. I'd recommend this location to anyone seeking a well-kept facility with friendly members and supportive staff behind it.
Amazing place, so happy it finally opened! Glad to see some familiar faces! Love the renovation it’s been a long wait but all the machines are functional, all towels are restocked, clean red therapy room and ability to use massage chairs and water massage chairs. Every weight is constantly put back! Love the aesthetic of the place! Love seeing Ricardo such a nice and amazing person! Edit: It’s been busier and I understand but especially with the increased foot traffic towels are not consistently cleaned anymore and it’s harder to get some. Also the overall cleanliness has declined. Especially if Ricardo is not working (he’s an Angel!)! Still all staff is friendly but it’s been what I have noticed since new years :)
Amazing gym with a legendary vibe! The equipment is top-tier, the environment is super high-energy, and the staff makes you feel at home. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, Gold's Gym has everything you need to succeed. 5 stars all the way!

IT’S FINALLY OPEN — AND THE UPGRADES ARE NEXT LEVEL! This place is unreal. I’ve trained at nearly every Gold’s Gym in Calgary, and without question, this one takes the crown. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference — this is not your average gym. We’re talking: • Full steam room & sauna • Women’s-only area • Recovery lounge with those new egg pods • Red light therapy • Endless cardio setup • MULTIPLE legit private shower stalls • Clean, spacious, modern — like a luxury private facility The ambiance is perfect: not too dark, not too bright. The kind of gym you can spend hours in — and I do. It feels like a second home now. Massive shoutout to Kelly and the team — they absolutely nailed it. The equipment lineup is top-tier, the layout makes sense, and every corner of this place was clearly designed for real lifters, athletes, and serious members. Only thing I hope for? That management keeps this place tight — just like they did at Douglasdale and run buffalo run. No weights left everywhere, no reckless behavior. NORTHGATE struggled with that — don’t let that happen here. This is hands-down the best Gold’s in the city, and honestly? It’s better than most private gyms I’ve been to. Just remember today’s day one they only opened 18 min ago.. Thank you, Golds.
