Fantastic range of interesting items. Lots of things I haven't seen elsewhere, all from independent businesses. Especially love the Father Christmas model set made from cardboard - that's already been sent to my great nephew. Everything else is now in the Christmas present pile!
Good Things offers a range of ethically sourced and sustainable gifts and products - whether your passion is reducing plastic production and use or for fair trade or recycled materials. Whether it be for equal opportunities for women or providing work for those who are often marginalised such as the disabled. Many products that support these causes and more are available and Good Things are wholly transparent in their supply chain and actively champion the companies and organisations they work alongside. Their orders are sent out in plastic free packaging - which initially drew me to the company - but invariably arrive promptly with no damage featuring many personal touches that larger, faceless chains and businesses cannot hope to replicate. The mindset is on gifts for everyone so irrespective of who you are buying for or of any of the aforementioned ethics you have you are more than likely to find something suitable for a competitive price which doesnt compromise on the quality or longevity of the products.. I will continue to shop with Good Things and encourage everybody who wants to do this with a personal touch to do likewise to ensure the core principles of a genuine shopping experience continues to prosper.
Incredible selection of gifts and the best customer service. You can tell the person running Good things is very passionate about what she does and every gift I have ordered through here comes quickly and, when I've selected it, perfectly gift wrapped. Couldn't recommend more. Everything I have ordered has been to the highest quality and has been loved and treasured by the recipients.
Good things is such a great company! I first saw Lucy's stall at the Royal William Yard Christmas market last year, there's a really wide selection of gifts for kids that are made from sustainable sources and largely by organisations that are supporting local people and jobs around the world. I've bought a few of the children's play sets and the recycled plastic toys for younger relatives and they're of much higher quality than other kid's toys I've seen. I've subsequently ordered more things from the website, including a really lovely dress for my niece, there are more items on there now which is very exciting to be able to buy things that are actually doing good for those who produce them and those who receive them as gifts!! Highly recommended as a company and will try to only buy children's toys from here from now on!
