Gracie Barra Surfers Paradise es una academia de Jiu-Jitsu brasileño de primer nivel ubicada en Southport, que ofrece instrucción experta para todas las edades y niveles de habilidad. Dirigida por el profesor Gui Trestini, la academia fomenta un ambiente acogedor, libre de egos, donde los estudiantes pueden desarrollar la confianza, la disciplina y la condición física. Con un enfoque en la técnica, el respeto y el crecimiento personal, ofrece clases para niños, adultos y familias, creando una comunidad unida que se siente como un hogar lejos de casa. Ideal para principiantes y practicantes experimentados por igual, el gimnasio pone énfasis en el trabajo en equipo y habilidades para toda la vida, tanto dentro como fuera de las colchonetas.

After 10 years away from Jiu-Jitsu, I finally got back to training and I couldn’t be happier to have chosen Gracie Barra. From day one, I felt really welcomed by the team and by Professor Guilherme, who leads with great respect and technique. The atmosphere here is ego-free — everyone genuinely wants to teach, learn, and grow together. You can tell the focus is on teamwork and mutual improvement.
Great club! Amazing community and supportive environment. Great for adults and kids. The professors are outstanding, have so much knowledge and it's fun, respectful and challenging place to train. If you're looking to start or thinking of changing gym's this is the place to go!
Wonderful community with committed people who really care about people (children, young people and adults). We feel at home there and it's incredible to see our daughter's evolution. As we always say: JiuJitsu is for life. Oss.
Gracie Barra Surfers Paradise has become a little home away from home as well as a slight addiction for my son ☺️ The welcoming energy and professionalism of the leaders is palpable and much appreciated by us as parents. Our family's journey with Gracie Barra Surfers Paradise started with my husband, who joined first, 3 and a half years ago. Then, our two boys started training nearly two years ago, and now, after being part of this amazing community for so long, I’ve finally joined too! From day one, we’ve felt so welcomed. The guidance and professionalism, combined with real kindness from Professor Gui Trestini and the whole team make learning jiu-jitsu such a great experience. Jiu-jitsu has so far done wonders for my boys. It boosted their confidence, helped them handle emotions better, taught them skills that will be used out of the mats - and that, as a parent, is exactly what we wanted for them. I highly recommend it for all kids (boys and girls) AND also for parents! So many of us started by bringing our kids and ended up jumping in ourselves. If you’re looking for a place to train, grow, and be part of a great community, I can’t recommend Gracie Barra Surfers Paradise enough!!
