My husband and I celebrated my mother and sister's birthday with the Saturday Luncheon cruise with Grand Lady Cruises. It was absolutely phenomenal. We were easily able to find the dock where we were to board thanks to clear instructions by the cruise line. We were invited onboard 30 minutes prior to the cruise start, and there were tables in the shade and seats in the sun where we waited. With about 20 other passengers, we easily found a fabulous table in the sun and breeze. There were also tables inside with air conditioning if it were desired. We were instructed to descend to the dining room when it was time for the buffet. Each item on the buffet was tasty and cooked well. I loved the chicken that was moist and oh-so-delicious. While we could have eaten in the cool dining room, we chose to eat at a table back upstairs in the sun. The entire staff was friendly and attentive to us and all passengers. The leisurely 2-hour cruise around Buffalo harbor was accompanied by Nico who played and sang a variety of songs that would appeal to every age group. We enjoyed his music so much that my mother and sister had their picture taken with him at the end of the cruise. The bathrooms were clean, spacious, and bright. The luncheon cruise was an absolute pleasure, and the beautiful weather we had only enhanced our experience. We will cruise again with Grand Lady ... Hmmmm .... maybe an evening dinner cruise.
So I did this one back in 2024 and then once again September 2025 and have nothing but good comments on it. The staff is always very nice and welcoming. The departure has been on time and there's more than enough space for everyone on board. Weather was beautiful both times so we were able to watch one of our beloved and amazing Buffalo sunsets. There's enough parking space right outside the boarding area for the boat. The 2h the dining tour last fly by real quick but it's also enough to have some great views of the city before and after the sunset. The food was served at different times on each trip (not sure how it works yet) but it was yummy: salad with dressings, pasta, green beans, meat grilled chicken and cookies for dessert. There's a bar and drinks are reasonably priced as well. All in all, this is an experience that I would definitely recommend for anyone that wants to see Lake Erie, our sunsets and have a nice dinner. The tour was $165 for 2 people last year and $179 this one so considering it's a boat ride and dinner $90 per person (2h tour and food) didn't seem expensive at all.
We just had our wedding and I can’t say enough about how incredible the entire experience was. From the very beginning, the team was helpful, truly committed to making everything perfect. Jenna, our coordinator, was absolutely amazing—organized, supportive, and so easy to work with. She guided us through every detail and made the process stress-free. The day of the wedding was everything we hoped for—elegant, romantic, and beautifully done. The staff on board were professional, kind, and attentive. And of course, the captain was wonderful as well. Everything came together seamlessly and created memories we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for a unique, beautiful, and stress-free wedding venue, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. It was everything we needed and more.
Went on a history cruise and had an amazing time. The boat is beautiful, tons of indoor seating, and areas to sit outside. The crew was friendly and welcoming. Mike who narrated the tour was great. Tons of interesting info and fun stories and facts mixed in. A great way to spend a few hours and learn about the grain silos and river. They also have a bar with reasonably priced drinks.
We had such a nice time on our murder mystery cruise. The murder mystery itself was very entertaining, and the food was perfection. We even got the catering information because the food was so delicious. Thankyou for giving us such a fun night out
