I had the extreme pleasure of using the services of Grime Interiors to repair my dining room furniture, a table and two captains chairs. I had used their services 11 years ago to repair my bedroom furniture which is still in great shape. Again, they did not disappoint. They continue to provide excellent service, start to finish. They are experienced and skilled craftsmen at furniture repair and guarantee their work - although I have not had to use their guarantee as I have not had any issues with their work. Their entire operation, from office administration to boots on the ground pick-up and delivery, is a well oiled machine. They are courteous, knowledgeable, responsive and easy to reach; Their estimate of turnaround time was perfect and furniture was delivered, as promised, before Christmas. I highly recommend Grimes Interiors for any of your furniture repair needs.
Grimes Interiors repaired two pieces of furniture that were my mother’s, from the early 1900’s. The one piece, I thought, was beyond repair. They repaired both pieces to their original beauty. I appreciated both their honest appraisal, excellent workmanship and their professionalism. They not only exceeded my expectations but impressed me with their honesty and character. I would use them again, no question.
Very nice people. They did a beautiful job reupholstering a couch cushion. My second couch was refurbished by Grimes. They reupholstered two leather cushions, reconditioned all of the leather on the couch and replaced the feet with a sturdier feel. The couch looks brand new. It’s almost 25 years old and was totally beat up when Grimes received it for the job. I’m thrilled with the results.
I inherited my great grandmother’s camel back sofa and wingback chair. They were purchased in 1920 - I found the sales receipt. Grime’s really made these look like new. Refinished the wood trim and legs restrung the seating sections and used a color that was perfect. I had the sofa done in 2913 and it needed refreshed so this time I did the chair as well. They take their time and make these antiques look like new. Well worth the cost since furniture made today won’t last over 100 years!!
