I got a texture perm with Caleb kim and it was very quick , he pays attention to detail I love everything about my hair Definitely would come back again
SCAMMERS. They make you sign a contract so even if they don't do the correct hair job you can't do anything about it. Please avoid this hair salon at all costs. Gaslighting and amateur skills. I came in for a hair color asking for an auburn red brown and they turned my hair almost black. All my friends were also commenting how dark it was and this was not the color I asked for. When I emailed them they told me to come in the next day and that they can fix it. However when I got to the salon the guy who did my hair was trying to gaslight me saying this is the color I asked for and it's just the lighting like sir I'm not colorblind. He was obviously trying to avoid doing more work even though he gave me the wrong color. After a lot of back and forth they finally obliged but instead of fixing it to the correct color, they put a color REMOVER instead. This ended up removing the new color and just left me with the old color underneath, exposing my roots and all. I mentioned this to him and he said "there's nothing we can do about that." He tried to convince me that this was an additional complementary service. Is this not your job?? They should be embarrassed they let me walk out of their salon like that. The guy Caleb and people here are not skilled not honest. I also had a friend tell me she got a perm here and had to come back 3 times because the perm did not come out. There are so many other salons in Koreatown that have better customer service and are way more knowledgeable than this one. Save your money unless you want to get scammed here.
I had an amazing experience with Caleb for my perm. After a thorough consultation, he recommended the restoration perm, and I’m so glad he did. it gave my hair great volume while still looking relaxed and natural. My hair feels healthy and not dry at all, which I really like. Caleb is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the health of your hair. Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing experience. My haircut by Caleb was perfection - he really listened and executed exactly what I wanted. The styling by Helen and Caleb was just as incredible and brought the whole look together beautifully. I left feeling confident, polished, and so happy with my hair. Highly recommend this salon and especially this team!
Today was my 4th visit to Hair Arca and again I am impressed by the level of professionalism that Caleb leads with, and impressed by the hospitality of all stylists in the salon. Esteban was very warm and friendly. After my last appointment was not meeting my expectations, they reached out to me offering their services to make sure I was satisfied. Today I came in to correct some uneven bleaching from my last appointment, and they were very accommodating. They corrected the bleach and toned my hair as a courtesy and I was very grateful that they hold themselves to the highest standard of service. I am very pleased with the results of my hair appointment and I would definitely recommend this salon to a friend!
