I came here with my 2 sisters for a spa day. Only 1 sister had a good experience. My other sister and I did not unfortunately. It was the massage particularly, which did not feel like a real one. Sweet spots were missed. Just felt like a 90 minute stroke session. We left feeling confused by our experience. The staff in general seemed stressed out. Maybe it was a bad day which we all get. The steam room was the best part.
Visited and had their Cela Luxury Spa Ritual. It was an extremely unique multi-stage experience and very relaxing. The staff here takes great care of you and are super professional with their service delivery. The tea room and steam rooms are great as well.
Hamman Spa by Céla - King St: a restorative little sanctuary in the Heart of Downtown My very first Hammam Spa by Céla experience was at their Bayview Village location, and it set the bar incredibly high: the handcrafted Canadian metalwork, the marbled walls, the hand-painted frescoes, the mosaic-tiled steam room, and those magnificent marble altars where the rituals unfold. Since then, I’ve been coming to the King St. spa, and although it’s a smaller space, it has everything essential to the Hammam experience... including the precious steam room (everyone needs a good, soul-clearing steam!), a peaceful lounge, a warm team, and that same familiar sense of care that keeps me returning. The staff, attendants, and therapists are always wonderful: soft-spoken, attentive, and welcoming without ever being intrusive. They’re also endlessly patient with my many questions about the treatments, which I appreciate more than they know. What makes this location my haven is Tanya. She’s the reason I happily make the trip each time. Her soft gentleness and sweet presence help me feel safe, seen, at ease, and genuinely cherished. There’s a tender wisdom in her work: respectful, grounded, and deeply human. I trust her completely, and I look forward to my appointments with her (and that steam) long before the day arrives. Hammam Spa by Céla on King St. may be intimate in size, but it offers a fully restorative experience. Even in the middle of downtown Toronto, the moment you walk inside, it becomes a cocoon of warmth, peace, and quiet luxury. Every visit reminds me how good it feels to allow yourself to be pampered. I always leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply grateful.
Honestly, the location is perfect! Right in the heart of downtown Toronto. Among all the vibrant atmosphere that King St offers to the city, this spa is located right in the perfect place to bring balance to the street. Why? Because this is spa! Omg, I could spend all day here without even noticing the atmosphere outside! From the moment I walked in, I could feel the calm and welcoming atmosphere. Nicholas at the front desk received me with a smile and great hospitality! Manager Cynthia, right after, greeted me with another smile and warm welcome! The whole staff crew at Hammam Spa were incredibly kind and attentive. They helped me understand the different packages and services without rushing me or making me feel overwhelmed, which I really appreciated. I booked a 90min. non RMT massage, and wow! The massage therapist (can’t remember his name) was amazing. I had a lot of muscle tension and knots, and I left feeling like a completely new person. I don’t usually leave reviews, but the experience was so great I had to share my first one! Hammam Spa, you got me! The space is beautiful, the service was thoughtful, and I’m already planning to go back next week with my best friend. It was truly one of the best spa experiences I’ve had in the city. And hey! I love spas! Got a favourite now! Thank you Hammam!
Very nice cozy and clean place. We visited this place for couples massage. My massage was excellent but my husband’s wasn’t that great so it depends on who you get. The tea was a bit disappointing for me as I was expecting Moroccan tea but it’s not. Overall it was a nice relaxing experience.
