The time frame for the service was between 11 and 1 pm. Was also texted that the tech was on his way which I really appreciated so I could put the dogs away. Tech came in, I recognized him from the last time I had service, I am just bad with remembering names. He checked the heater which is in the attic and changed the filters, offered to sweep up after himself but there wasn't too much. He was friendly and easy to talk to and I'm sure I'll see he in a few months when they'll check the A/C unit.
Ive had a need to replace the ductwork in my home for a few years. I had three other companies aside from Joe who works at Handy Heating and Air come give us a quote. They were not the best priced for the work but they were still reasonable compared to the other. There were other important details that led me to go with them. Joe was courteous and professional, he actually went above and beyond and made a simple repair of sealing up my system because air was either escaping or getting into the system which shouldnt be happening. In his words “hes already there, wont take me much to do it” at no charge. All other companies were just there solely to gain my business, but joe actually encouraged me to go with the company who could provide excellent service and give me the most bang for my buck. He educated me and provided plenty of information to help me make a decision. Once i decided to go with Handy heating and Air, The lead technician Jose went within 24 hrs to take measurements and see what would be needed for the project. I knew my project was not going to be easy because the system installed a couple years ago is big and cumbersome but jose and his helped made it work. After the project was completed, I addressed a small issue with Joe and he was professional, prompt and courteous with handling the situation. I am beyond satisfied with their service and professionalism, I definitely recommend them. I have canceled my maintenance membership service with my previous service provider and have signed up with Handy Heating and Air.
I had several issues with my sprinkler system. they were able to send someone the next day and they did a fantastic job. On-time and very thorough- very nice and great customer service. Will use them again!!
Great service, had a water leak from my AC and my dryer vent clogged and both Jose and Brian did an absolutely amazing job. It was definitely a tough time due to how bad some pipes and vents were clogged but they were determined to get the job done.
We are so incredibly happy that we met Joseph for our HVAC needs. Our HVAC system was 19yo and completely shot since we moved into our house in May 2021. We first reached out to Joseph in June when we couldn't stand the summer heat. He told us that a complete replacement would be necessary (which we had already suspected and wanted) so that all made sense. He walked us through in detail about our current system, what parts are malfunctioning, and why a complete upgrade makes the most sense financially. He also showed us pictures of our attic and the old ductwork that was torn apart and needed to be replaced. Joseph was so professional and thoughtful throughout that entire process and first time meeting. The project estimate was completely reasonable considering he would be replacing our furnace and AC unit, enlarging the air return vent, upgrading all duct work in the attic, and installing an indoor air quality filter. After some discussion, we decided that we wanted to be able to fund the replacement completely and told him that we'll be in touch when we were ready to move forward. Fast forward to December 2021 when we finally saved up enough money. By this time, we weren't sweating from the summer heat but freezing our butts off from the winter cold! It was consistently around 50deg in our house and practically called Joseph in tears, happy and relieved that we can move forward with the installation! He came to re-inspect all of our equipment and re-quoted us based on updated costs (which we 100% expected because of the current supply issues). He also walked us through rebate options to help save money. His team came out the following week and completed the entire project in 1 day. They protected all the floors and themselves, were super friendly and professional, and completed the installation despite running into a few tricky spots. Joseph taught us how to efficiently heat our home and the ins and outs of easy maintenance. We literally celebrated that night turning the heater on and experienced actual comfort in our own home for the first time this year. I cannot recommend Joseph enough for his professionalism, value, and overall excellent customer experience. We look forward to having him back to maintain our new HVAC system for years to come :)
