Hansell Painting just completed their second project at our house. This time it was an interior job, taking care of some walls that were damaged during a delivery along a stairwell. The onsite team was professional and efficient. Our walls now look just as good as they did when we moved in. Thank you to the whole team at Hansell Painting from quoting, to project management and the professional paint crews. I will not hesitate to work with Hansell again. They may not be the least expensive paint crews that you can work with, but they do provide exceptional quality and stand behind their work. You get what you pay for when you work with Hansell Painting.
We would not trust Hansell to even paint a dog house after our experience. Out of several quotes we received for our project we actually chose the most expensive because of their promised expertise and quality. It started as a 3-man crew and quickly devolved into only 1 man, day after day “without the right tools”, working on our entire house. Within 2 weeks after the job was “done” paint was literally peeling off the house. It was only after mentioning we were going to contact the owner of the company that they offered to sand down and repaint only one side of the house. We are right at the one year after mark and have paint peeling on all sides of our house. Our project manager was an absolute joke and didn’t give us the lead paint disclosure agreement until the very last day on site. Had it been given to us before work began (as required by law) we would have had the EPA shut the whole thing down due to lack of following protocol. Even simple tasks like caulking, taping, and masking things to NOT be painted weren’t done correctly; we have paint on our porch, front door, siding (not where you want paint), and our brand new metal roof. Despite pointing all of these mistakes out to our “project manager”, they went unresolved. We highly recommend, above all, hiring someone else for your project regardless of size, scope, or cost.
Hansell Painting brought exceptional care and craftsmanship to our project from start to finish. The results really show in the clean, crisp lines where our painted walls meet a ceiling in a different color. They also sprayed a bookshelf for us at their shop and the finish is completely flawless, truly a furniture-grade result. What stood out most was their thoughtful prep work. They filled every small imperfection, sanded carefully, and chose high-end paint because, as they explained, materials are the least expensive part of the project and the real investment is the labor. For our exterior project, they took the time to understand what we actually needed and recommended focusing only on the areas that required attention. This targeted approach saved us money while still delivering top-tier quality. Everyone we worked with had a positive and can-do attitude, and the sales process and project management were smooth, friendly, and professional throughout. We really appreciated how easy they made the entire process. We are very happy with our experience and would gladly recommend Hansell Painting.
