No whales unfortunately but we saw hundreds of dolphins. The crew and Naturalist were superb. I was slightly anxious about how my almost 2 year old would do, but it was great. Bonus about going in January was that we saw a beautiful sunset behind Catalina

So fun! Loved that the tour included narration by guides from the aquarium- Brian and Gavin shout out! The crew was friendly. We had a fairly busy tour at 12:30 on a Sunday, but we saw at least three whales and a common dolphin feeding frenzy and STAMPEDE!! It was memorable. Even just being out on the water with such clear skies and views was awesome. I definitely want to come back (and we’ve done the 9 AM version of this tour before)!

Booked through Booking.com — about 30% cheaper than on-site tickets. Besides the confirmation, Harbor Breeze Cruises also sent reminder messages and emails before departure. Joined the 45-minute boat tour and was lucky to see wild sea lions, plus a brief dolphin sighting. There is a $8 parking lot nearby, which felt safe and convenient. Everything happened quickly, so no photos of the dolphins, but it was a joyful and memorable experience.

So much fun! The staff and volunteers were amazing and the whale watching was great fun! The boat was clean and had refreshments on board. I love that they shared fun facts about not only whales, but the port itself. Super easy to find. There are several dining options within a few hundred yards of the dock. All around great experience for my family and I.

My family had a lovely time on the whale and dolphin watch tour. Given we were off season and the ocean being so large (haha) I was hoping for some dolphins and sea lions and was not disappointed! This was a lovely scenic boat ride, clean, comfortable with many seating options. There were education specialists from the Aquarium of the Pacific who were wonderful. These whale watching and harbor cruises are such a great way to spend a couple of hours worth every penny! Honestly it’s actually a great deal considering you will have a great experience going on a boat out into the open ocean and those memories will last you and your kids a lifetime!
