This place truly touched our hearts. The food brought back beautiful memories of eating in India. The Baahubali Mandi was the highlight for us — the chicken, mutton, and fish mandi were incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and deeply satisfying. The chicken and mutton dum biryani had an amazing aroma and authentic taste that felt just like home. The entire experience made us feel as if we weren’t in Houston at all, but sitting down for a meal in India. It was such a special moment that we even took the perfect picture to remember it. If you’re craving real, soulful Indian food, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

Hashtag India is a South Indian restaurant, famous for its Mandi and floor sitting cabins. Food is good, rice was tasty and portions were large. Ambience is okay. Good parking space. Overall a nice experience.

I recently visited Hashtag India in Houston and overall had a really good experience! The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere with upbeat desi music, colorful interiors, and a lively crowd that instantly gives you the feel of being back in India. The service was quick and friendly — the staff made great suggestions and were attentive throughout the meal. Their specialty, the Mandi, absolutely lived up to the hype! The rice was fragrant, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of smokiness. The chicken was juicy and tender, falling right off the bone, and the portion size was generous enough to share. It’s definitely one of the best Mandis I’ve tried in Houston and totally worth coming back for. On the other hand, I tried their Pani Puri, and it didn’t quite meet expectations. The puris weren’t as crisp as they should be, and the pani lacked that tangy-spicy kick you’d expect from authentic street-style golgappas. It wasn’t bad, but compared to their other dishes, it felt a little underwhelming. Overall, though, Hashtag India is a great spot if you’re craving flavorful Indian comfort food — especially their Mandi. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and it’s a nice place for both families and groups of friends. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian flavors in Houston, just maybe skip the pani puri and go straight for the Mandi!

This was definitely a great experience to eat here. The paneer mandi was excellent, as well as all the other foods we tried. The seating area in the mandi section made the experience better. Have not seen anything like this here in Houston.

I don't have India food really offended, but I can tell this place it's good because a lot India people going. We order Mandi, and green curry. Those are really good. Mandi the rice is too spicy for me, if you can't eat spicy, let them know to adjust the level when you order. Self service restaurants with paper plate, I feel this experience not that good in a nice design restaurants. I try one dessert, it's a small order with 3 white ball(no picture), I dont like it, weird taste for me.
