I called up Debbie as I turn 65 in 6 months to learn about Medicare. She does not answer her phone and her message says text her, and she also auto sends a text. So I texted her and she responded 6 hours later. So via texting I set up an in person meeting with her next Tuesday. She then insisted I fill out a preliminary form and started texting me personal questions about my current situation which is I don't want immediate insurence I'm planning ahead. She wanted me to wait 3 months until I had to purchase something and then canceled my appointment. She then stopped answering my texts and questions. She seems to be just like all the calls I get where the second they can't make a sale they just hang up on you. So if you are wanting to learn about Medicare this is not the place
Debbie has been our agent for about 12 years and she has always worked to make sure we get the best plan for our needs, whether it is the cheapest or not. When my husband retired, she helped us forecast our needs and found the best Medicare supplement policy for my husband, even though we thought we wanted an HMO, and it turned out so much better, with so much less hassle and no confusing paperwork, until the end of his life. (My parents got an HMO, without an agent, and there have been lots of problems.) I am still not eligible for Medicare and, because of my husband’s illness, my income has been unreliable and often nonexistent, but Debbie has always helped me find a plan that I can afford and that meets my needs. I thought it would be impossible for 2026, but once again she has made it work.
