this is how my first experience went at this place: first, suite was extremely difficult to find as it is located in a HUGE workspace that looks like a maze and there’s no reception bc it is just a small room with who is going to provide the service. so that was frustrating and made me get to my appointment late. however, i was welcomed by Vianey, she asked me questions, and was transparent about certain things in a respectful manner. i’ve already done sugaring before so as soon as she turned around i took my bottoms off but if you are more shy and like a bigger space with more privacy, i wouldn’t recommend this place. overall, i will be back to see Vianey again bc we talked throughout my entire brazilian and she got EVERYTHING off! im extremely happy with my results 🤩
Hello Maria, Thank you for your attention to this matter. I wish to express my dissatisfaction with the service l was denied at Hello Sugar. As a previous customer, l have paid for services in the past and tipped quite graciously to the staff. Due to nature of my career, l travel often and have not been a regular customer in the Miami office. Noticing my slight absenteeism, your retention team contacted ME to redeem a promotion. I booked an appointment, arrived on time and waited patiently in the lobby of the building. The disconnect in this process is that there are no clear directions upon arrival. Sure, there is an instruction to dial the keypad outside the door but there are no other instructions after the door opens. Furthermore, a random person who is already inside the building could also open the door as a courtesy which means that your staff or patrons are still unaware of how to completely check in. Then, to further compliment the matter, I called multiple times as well as sending chat messages to advise of my arrival and extra 40 minute wait time. The technician refused to provide services stating that there were other scheduled appointments- completely disregarding my appointment first. I notice a pattern of miscommunication and mistreatment. I also conducted research of previous complaints from other patrons and it appears to be minorities within a certain age range who tend to be unfairly treated- which of course is unethical and illegal. I suggest revising your operating model to include fair best practices and integrity. It saddens me that I always support small businesses, local businesses and minority businesses but this experience makes me question or regret that decision.
I am leaving a new review because I had a 2nd experience with a different wax tech and she was amazing. I’ve never had a sugar in 20 minutes. She was very thorough. I also really appreciate the owner, Carina. She followed up with me after a previously unpleasant experience and made sure I received the service standard that Hello Sugar provides. Be sure to ask for Sadé! She isn’t so professional and great at what she does.
I had the absolute best experience with Vee during my service today. Vee is first of all, one of the best estheticians, my results are always amazing and she is so careful with her technique. You can tell that she really cares about her clients and that she genuinely knows what she is doing. I will never get these services done anywhere else. She is very conversational too and always explains the service fully, the products being used, and the aftercare necessary for best results. She is extremely organized and timely with appointments too. This girl is such a pleasure to be around, I am so grateful for her!
Vee was amazing! She made me comfortable after not waxing for 2 months. She’s very attentive and gentle with the waxing. Will come back to see her soon! Thank you, Vee, for your out of this world customer service
