My experience was horrible as a first time customer.I did up getting stuck in traffic and got there in which I was late but I tried calling and texting. I got there at exactly 10 min mark. Instantly when I met with Tresia or Teresa, she instantly was combative, had an attitude, eyes rolled in the back of her head. I instantly felt offended because why are you giving off this negative energy to a new customer. I understood that I would have to rescheduled, but she didn’t even give me any options or anything. Just completely rude and ignorant for no reason.she just dismissed me and didn’t offer anything. she’ stated shes not waxing and servicing me and that’s it! I did absolutely nothing to the lady. Until I left and had to come back to literally beg to get another appointment with someone else. Also, when I walked up she was talking on the phone loud and angry saying so much profanity. There are other people that have businesses there and she just didn’t care, very unprofessional. I only gave 2 stars because Arianna actually did a great job much better attitude, very refreshing! I will never come back here and she makes the company look bad. She really needs a customer service refresher. If she keeps up that attitude she will be a liability. I don’t know if the argument and cursing on her phone with someone led to her taking her anger out on me, but she made me very upset. I will never come back from one bad experience with you guys. Please train your employees better thank you.
After some of the reviews and coming to see that similar people have the same issue it all seems clear. I booked an appointment for 4:30pm for the 22nd and I cancelled 12 HOURS IN ADVANCE and booked for the 21st but I had to cancel again (12 hours in advance) because something came up and that's just life, things happen. I rebooked again for the 22nd at a better time just for shian to tell me that I would have to pay a 50% no refundable deposit because of recent cancellations that were cancelled 12 HOURS IN ADVANCE. shian tells me that she understands but is is required to collect a deposit. I proceed to tell Shian that she in fact DOSE NOT.Understand and it's not that shes "required" to to collect a deposit, she WANTS to collect a deposit and saying she understands and continues to collect a deposit anyways , she in fact does not understand. If I'm cancelling 12 HOURS in advance and communicating a better time and day that works for me there's absolutely no reason why I should be charged a deposit. Money hungry people.
Treaisha was amazing!!! She was swift and efficient. My best friend was with me and it felt like a good ole girls time. She was so fun and insightful. Definitely going to her again!
Was charged a deposit ahead of the service. Was then charged the full price of the service at the time of the service. Called customer service many, many times over the course of 2+ weeks but was never able to receive my deposit back. Each time I called, I received the same response. The customer service rep would claim that the location manager was the only individual on planet Earth who could issue a refund, but that despite their best efforts, they could not get a hold of that location manager and that I would just have to try calling back another day. I repeated this cycle 4 or 5 times over the course of 2+ weeks. Eventually, I had to give up and have my credit card company issue a charge back. In terms of the sugar wax itself, the vast majority of my roots did not get pulled out, instead the hair just broke at the surface of the skin and I was quite hairy again within a week of my service.
After having trouble with the door code and calling with no answer, a kind woman eventually let me in. Once I signed in for my appointment, I waited over 30 minutes in front of both suites. I called and texted the AI number they provided after booking, and only then did I finally receive a call informing me that the waxer I was scheduled with had to leave for an emergency and that I couldn’t be rebooked until Monday. I completely understand that emergencies happen, and the caller who informed me was kind and offered a $5 voucher. However, waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time without being notified was extremely unprofessional. In situations like this, clients should be contacted immediately so they don’t waste time driving to the location and waiting unnecessarily. It’s also worth noting that this was part of their $20 first-time wax promotion, which may or may not even still be applicable if I do decide to return. This situation genuinely ruined the beginning of my day, but thankfully Body By Shae in Winter Park was able to take me in, provided excellent service, and treated me kindly after this bad experience. My suggestions for the company are: please stop using AI as your primary text/call help line instead of an actual representative, and please inform clients right away if their appointments will be affected. There is really no excuse for not contacting me immediately after the waxer had to leave. My time and gas were wasted when it could have been avoided.
