The Helms team provided a professional, friendly and flexible user experience for two of my teen drivers. Online instructor driven course/homework paired with convenience of pick up/drop off from home/school for on the road instruction made my teens experience educational, engaging and comfortable. I’ve run out of kids to attend Helms Driving School but would definitely recommend!

My daughter was not excited to practice driving but Mrs. Michelle was wonderful. She was patient, kind and calm. They practiced in our neighborhood, and the highway and some busier roads which was very helpful and thorough. I found Helms School on Google when I searched for the best driving school in Charlotte, and it truly is the best! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The enrollment was a dream come true for my kid and his birthday present. Chrystal went above and beyond and volunteered to send the enrollment email on his birthday morning. It was incredibly sweet and thoughtful! Everyone was kind, supportive, and very professional. Special thanks to Michelle, our fabulous driving instructor. The first teacher in driving makes such a difference, and she gave my son the confidence to feel comfortable on the road and taught him lessons I wish I had known when I started. Don’t hesitate if you really need THE BEST driving education in Charlotte!

Helms Driving School in Charlotte, NC is absolutely incredible! They provided driving lessons for my teen and exceeded every expectation. The instructors are professional, patient, and genuinely care about their students' safety and success. Their flexibility with scheduling made the whole process stress-free, and I felt completely confident trusting them with my teen’s driving education. I've had three kids graduate from their program and couldn’t be more confident in their training. Special shoutout to Pete, my twins' driving instructor, for his patience and knowledge — and to Chrystal, who worked magic with the scheduling despite the crazy pace of teen life. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and flexible driving school, Helms is the one. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I'm so grateful that my son passed his NC read test! Driving is such an important life skill that I wanted to prepare my son for the road test, but more importantly prepare him to be a safe driver. The instructors at Helms Driving School were very experienced and very high caliber. I will definitely use Helms again for driving lessons for my other children. I'm so grateful that I selected Helms and found that my son was more receptive to driving teachers that were not his parents. Again, thank you to Chrystal and the team at Helms!
