This is a really nice bookshop. But it's the third I've reviewed today so I'm struggling for something to say beyond that. Go there. The staff are nice. It's well organised. Big variety of books. Well worth the trip - it's 6 hour's drive from where I live.
Beautifully maintained and wonderful staff. But for Indians trying to buy and get back to India, you will get the same books for far cheaper prices on amazon India. However for people staying in Australia this is a really good store.
We must’ve looked like thugs peeking through the glass door when we spotted this shop on our way back to the hotel next to it. The warmly lit Christmas tree made it feel extra cozy and inviting inside. The next morning, we decided to make it our first errand to check it out. Lucky to have Sade softly playing in the background. I picked up a book for my boy, and the lovely staff thoughtfully wrapped it for us without us even asking. Thank you. Happy Christmas! 💗
What a delightful little hidden treasure, a quaint bookshop! A quiet delightful little place near the parliament end of Bourke street, can't wait to go back for a long long look with a delicious coffee from Pellegrini's round the corner! Best way to spend a lazy afternoon in this wet cold Melbourne weather!
