Always wanted to try this bakery. Since it was 3pm and they close at 4pm I thought I could get a coffee too, but the coffee machine was already being cleaned, an hour early. Anyhow the vanilla slice was amazing. I would order it again.
Joy in a pie crust. How Rob bakes with time to impart his common sense to whinging idiots, when the coffee is superb and huge savoury and sweet selection sublime, is indigestible. Unless the constant stream of sensible looking customers are losers then the freshness and price of items must be spot on. Being a lifetime expert on eating custard slices, Horners’ is indescribable. …….
I flew in from Sydney for my partners birthday on a tight budget and they delivered exception at very short notice and as we received the horrible receiption with the Langham Buffet Manage racist people who double booking their restaurant and lied about when I had all the reservation via email and I wasted so much money coming up this cakes was the only thing was the saving grace to this otherwise miserable birthday. I must admit wasn't easy customer Horners Bakery to accomodate and because Paul kept changing the itinery due to his health. So I had to bug them for the cake earlier and than later. I really wanted to be surprise at the restaurant which didn't happen because the Langham who don't care about people or birthdays especially less you got bags of gold and then probably not if you look ethnic and we do and I wanted the dark chocolate and Hannah came through on every count they are total professionals. I would highly recommend for all your catering needs and the cake so beautiful probably saved our relationship. First he said he didn't want want me to waste money on a cake but when he saw the cake like magic it reminded him of his Sette and couldn't stop raving about it (it spoke to the German side of him) how could you not just look at it - a lot of love went into the baking of that!
It's next to a highway so it can get a be noisy but got plenty of chairs at the back for you to eat your food. Food is yummy and lots of variety
The morning chill had me searching for a cozy spot, and I found it at Horners Bakery & Pastries. Tucked just off the highway, it's a hidden gem that feels worlds away from the passing traffic. It's the perfect little cove to escape the hustle and bustle. I stepped inside and was greeted by the warm scent of freshly baked goods and the rich aroma of Byron Bay Coffee Company coffee. The cafe itself is adorable, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to settle in. My coffee was exactly what I needed on that cool winter morning—hot, flavorful, and a great start to the day. While I only stopped for a coffee, the display cases full of pastries and baked goods were tempting. I'll definitely be back to try some of their treats and soak in the charming ambiance. If you're looking for a peaceful detour and a great cup of coffee, Horners is a fantastic choice.
