I've visited Hot Rod Cameras a few times now and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, with no pushy salesmanship, and you can tell that they care about what they do. It's a trustworthy, local organization and on top of gear sales, they host great events, and a podcast with great insights into the craft. Give em a holler!

For years they were one of the very few authorized ARRI camera dealers in the US, which says everything about the trust and respect they've earned from one of the most prestigious brands in cinema. Their open houses throughout the year are top-notch with a welcoming vibe, great food and an opportunity to check out the latest equipment from vendors while catching up with old friends and colleagues. Hot Rod fosters real community with creatives in a way few others do. Highly recommend them to anyone serious about filmmaking!

I love this Camera Shop! They have quite an array of Camera gear and accessories, and if they don't have something in stock, they will gladly order it for you. The staff is very helpful and has extensive knowledge. They really go above and beyond for their customers. Hot Rod Cameras is my first stop shop for all things in the Camera space. They also host a lot of great workshops and events. They make everyone feel like they are part of the creative community. I cannot recommend them enough.
Being in LA, Hot Rod is one of the best places for all your motion picture gear — from prosumer to professional! Located in Burbank, they have all the latest in gear and tech needed for any size and budget film shoot. Their service is top notch and they always want to help you get the right gear for the job. Personally I have bought several items from monitors, to batteries, accessories, and even high end professional lenses which they helped me get a reliable 3rd party to help me figure out financing. Just know that they are a trusted source in gear and have the support, and knowledge to lead you to get what you need to outfit you properly for your career and next shoot!
