OMG WE HAD SUCH A BLAST WITH TRAVIS DURING OUR TOUR OF THE AQUARIUM SIDE OF THE PRESERVATION ! i surprised my homegirl with a birthday visit here and some how we got the full walk around, sight seeing package to see all the dope things this place does and offer! Did i mention he’s a world class photographer lol (inside joke) but nonetheless, T and I appreciate you Travis and we’ll be coming back again whenever the stars let us meet again ! ❤️
This place is awesome, you can feed fish, penguins, stingrays. You can also interact with al kids of animals. However in order to have most interactions you need credits, which is put on a card (sort of like a game card). There is a game room, and jumping castles. There is two different snack bar type areas to eat. I gave 3 stars becuase There were alot of empty attractions and attractions that had animals had no one to let us into or spend all the credits we purchased there.
Had the best time walking around and interacting with the animals, I took my time cause there was a field trip that were wrapping up from being there but got to do so much for such an awesome price. Definitely will make a stop again whenever I am in town. Everyone was so nice and welcoming.
The Houston Interactive Aquarium and Animal Adventure is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how interactive and engaging everything was. We started at the aquarium, where my kids had the best time feeding the gorgeous, giant koi fish — they were mesmerized! They also got to touch stingrays and see an incredible variety of sea creatures like seahorses, sharks, and lobsters. The bird sanctuary was another highlight. My kids were thrilled to feed the birds right from their hands — they couldn’t stop laughing as they felt the little pinches from the birds’ feet and beaks. A special shoutout to Lorena, who led the bird feeding tour. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely wonderful with my children — it made the experience even better! The facility itself is huge, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Outside, we enjoyed seeing the tortoises, giraffes, and other animals. The kids loved the bouncy house area, and the on-site restaurant was a great place for a quick break before more fun. Our absolute favorite part was getting to pet the sloths and Bengal cats — such a rare and magical experience! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the timeshare person near the bunny/rabbit area — it felt unnecessary and a bit out of place in such a wonderful family attraction. Other than that small hiccup, everything else was perfect. We left with huge smiles and can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for a fun, hands-on, and educational adventure for the whole family, this is the place to go!
It’s a fantastic place to take your kids for an outing! Honestly, we felt it was even better than going to the zoo. Here, you get the best of both worlds—an aquarium experience and a zoo, with plenty of animals to interact with. The staff is super helpful and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The outdoor activities are mostly shaded, making it a comfortable place to spend time with kids. Some of the activities do require purchasing points, but if you grab tickets from Groupon, they often have deals like 650 points with a four-ticket pass. The kids had an absolute blast, and honestly, the adults had just as much fun. We will definitely be back to enjoy this place again!
