Recording at How Much Studios has been an amazing experience. Phil is a phenomenal sound engineer—super organized, efficient, and easy to work with. He has a way of making the recording process smooth while still capturing a high-quality product - they know their stuff. The studio itself is cozy, comfortable, and affordable, but what really makes it shine is Phil and Paul. They both work incredibly hard to make the space feel like home, and you can tell they genuinely care about the artists who come through. It never feels transactional—more like being welcomed into a creative community. I’ve lucked out getting to record all my songs here. The atmosphere, the professionalism, and the dedication to delivering quality product make this spot truly stand out. If you’re looking for a studio that balances warmth, affordability, and top-tier quality, How Much Studios is where its at.
Amazing Studio. Different areas, recording booths. The Studio Bar section is perfect for bands to play together, live taping, it had a beautiful acoustic Würlitzer piano perfect for “Unplugged” sessions. Phil and Paul are incredible guys and will work with different services required by their customers. I have recorded here both audio and videos, and I will come back.

How Much Studio - Is a well kept secret in Austin. Top notch studio and an audio engineer that knows his craft. My experience at the studio so far has been nothing but awesome. I don't think Phil had ever mic-ed a kit like mine, but he was able to get a great sound from it regardless. Phil & Paul have created a relaxed, high end entertainment studio. If you're a musician this is a studio you have to experience. Our band will definitely be going back for future sessions at the studio.
My band and I booked a live video production session with HowMuch?! and it went absolutely amazing! Phil and Paul truly take pride in their work and are extremely supportive of the local music scene in Austin. They are so easy to work with and really made this a great experience! They have a great studio space, tons of cameras, immaculate vibes, and Phil did an incredible job mixing and mastering our audio tracks from the video. The video looks and sounds great and I can't believe how fast the turnaround time was too. If you're a local Austin, TX band or musician looking for a studio to record at or live video production, I'd definitely recommend HowMuch?! You're gonna be so happy with their work! I can't wait to work with HowMuch?! Studios again!!
