Was given the nasty attitude and look from worker when coming in. Disgusting and disappointing environment.
I had my classic guitar restrung here. They did an amazing job and the staff is always great. Very professional and informative. Thank y'all so much. I highly recommend this fine establishment! (Former Tenor to Steve Hess and Southern Salvation and The Stamps Quartet)
Older white gentlemen and the young Asian guy are very nice and friendly, however this review is to let these two awesome guys know whoever they are driving and taking guitars to that need to be repaired is mad dishonest and just wants money or has no clue what they are doing, most likely the second one. My guitar was having issues with the notes being a half step up on some of the strings. I was told by the shop it was a cheap fix, but whoever they took it too tried saying it needed a new fretboard and all kinds of nonsense it doesn’t need and wanted a lot of $$$ to fix it. I said no and took it to the Fret Shop and they said all it is is the tailpiece is on incorrectly and the strings are put on wrong. They fixed it for free. They said a new Fretboard and all the other junk this store said it needed was absolutely not necessary. And now they lost a customer because I don’t trust this store anymore and I will be using the fret shop for here on out.
Everyone here is super nice. The owner is knowledgeable and cares about their customers. They offer lessons. Great selection of instruments. They could use more street presence to get the word out. If you're looking for a banjo, fiddle, cello, mandolin, or lessons on many instruments check them out.
Todo el personal que trabaja aquí es excelente. Phil es el dueño y me ayudó con mi mandolín. Era muy conocedor y hasta me mostró algunos acordes. Me ayudó a elegir cuerdas, las colocó y las afinó para mí. (Esta fue mi primera vez y necesitaba ayuda) él es genial y paciente, ya que tenía un montón de preguntas. Una gran tienda local. Si tienes alguna pregunta o necesitas un instrumento de cuerdas, ven aquí. Instrumentos hermosos. Ofrecen clases de todo tipo. Apoya a los negocios locales, especialmente a estos chicos.
