I’ve been eating at Ichiban for many years. The sushi always stays fresh, and the presentation is exquisite! I really highly recommend everyone to give it a try. The sushi chefs are great and can accommodate some of my special requests. Definitely worth trying.
Ichiban never disappoints! The Queen Roll is my absolute favorite—it’s loaded with shrimp tempura, mango, spicy crab, and wrapped in pink soy paper. Every bite has the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little kick. The presentation is always beautiful, and it tastes just as amazing as it looks. I also tried the crab wontons and crispy veggie spring rolls—both were perfectly fried, golden, and delicious. The wontons are creamy and flavorful, and the spring rolls have that satisfying crunch with fresh veggie filling. The food is always consistent, fresh, and flavorful, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Ichiban is the spot. Highly recommend!
I dont know why people like this place. My girlfriend and I ordered from this place and got chicken teriyaki, rolls and shrimp tempura. The chicken teriyaki was the worst I have ever had, light on sauce and seasonings and it looked just sad. The rolls were meh but we got a small amount for 14 dollars. The container it came in was smaller than my hand. ( See picture). But the icing on the cake was how stingy they were with sauces that came on the side, like soy sauce, they were maybe 30-40 percent full, in those tiny containers. For the price they charge absolutely embarrassing. Save your money and stay away from here, because this stingy place is 100 percent watered down of what Japanese food should be.
Absolutely loved my experience at Ichiban! The food was incredibly delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and service you receive. A special thank you to our server Bailey— such a lovely and thoughtful person. She made our visit even more enjoyable with her warm attitude and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I get the chance. Highly recommend this place!
I have been coming to Ichiban for the past 6 years. I have not had a better experience at a restaurant! The service is very good, staff is highly attentive, caring, and knowledgeable towards their customers and the food they serve. Whether I do takeout, or dine in I always feel welcomed in and properly taken care of. The food is amazing, some of the best sushi I have had, and the best in Buffalo. I highly recommend eating here, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the employees are friendly.
