I am plant obsessed and this is the BEST nursery I have ever been to. Exceptional selection of plants that are so healthy. Great range of pots and plant accessories. Super helpful and friendly staff.
I’ve always enjoyed visiting this nursery. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me feeling quite disheartened. While the young woman who served me seemed knowledgeable about the plants, her approach to customer service was disappointing. From the start, she commented on my winter puffer jacket with, “What the hell are you wearing?” and continued to make repeated jokes about my appearance. Later, when I mentioned where I live to ask for climate-appropriate plant suggestions, she responded with remarks about why I must live there, implying it was simply because it's cheap and all I could afford. I understand that this might be her sense of humour, but it didn’t feel light-hearted. It felt personal and unnecessary. I came in to buy plants, not to be the subject of jokes. What could have been a really lovely experience was unfortunately tainted by comments that, intended or not, felt mocking and dismissive. This isn’t written in anger, just sadness. You never know what someone is going through, and a little kindness can go a long way. I left with some beautiful plants, but also with a heavy heart.
This place is a hidden gem. The plant selection and quality are amazing, the pricing is super affordable - like these ones that were $19 and $29. Most of all the service from Lou was amazing - knowledgeable, friendly and able to advise what plants were suitable for my appartment and back deck. I’m there number one fan now and my friend has already been in store. Will be making the drive from Brisbane next time I need plants or supplies. The indoor potting mix is also next level.
I came in early this morning and honestly, I don’t know much about plants. I’m not sure if she was the owner or a staff member, but she was incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations for my indoor plant. I’m a happy customer, very satisfied with the service, and now my living room looks better than ever. Thank you! I’ll definitely be coming back for more! 😁
