I cannot say enough good things about Sheila and Inspired Elegance. If it wasn’t for her, my wedding day would’ve honestly been a mess! I had never been in a wedding party before (and neither had my husband) so we weren’t even sure where to begin when it came to planning. She met with us multiple times to discuss our day, she created a to do list and reminded us about things we needed to get checked off, she helped us create a day of time line, she picked up our wedding cake, our late night snack and anything else we needed last minute! Sheila insured all of our vendors were on the same page and knew when they needed to be at our venue for set up. The basically paid and signed contracts, then Sheila would do the rest of the communication with the vendors for me! I could write an entire novel on things that she helped me with. It was such a smooth running day, with no hiccups - if there was any hiccups, she dealt with them and I never even noticed! My favourite part of having Sheila at our wedding, was whenever she noticed I was getting a tad overwhelmed, she would come over - give me a hug & remind me to take a deep breath. Then she’d send my husband on a little walk without anyone else so that we could step away for five minutes and enjoy the moment with each other! Having Inspired Elegance by my side on our big day, made me feel so confident and stress free. Everyone kept saying that I was the most chill bride the day of and all I kept saying was, you can thank Sheila for that! Sheila, we love you so much and are so thankful for you. Our wedding would not have been possible without you and your wonderful team! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Working with Sheila was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From day one, she understood our vision and brought it to life in ways we hadn’t even imagined. She anticipated things before we even thought of them, kept us calm when we were stressed, and made sure we actually enjoyed the journey to our wedding day. On the day, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing — every detail was perfectly managed which allowed us to enjoy the day with family and friends. Our guests are still talking about how smooth and beautiful everything was, and we owe that to Sheila and her team who made it possible.

My husband and I have said to each other countless times that hiring Sheila was one of the best decisions we could have made while planning our September 2023 wedding. It’s not an exaggeration to say that she saved our wedding, and without her I’m not sure that our vision would have come to life. Some context - we didn’t initially hire a wedding planner/coordinator as this service was included with our venue. But when our venue unexpectedly cancelled on us about 2 months out from our wedding date, we were completely lost and heartbroken. We scrambled and contacted every wedding planner in the city - Sheila responded to us immediately despite being on holidays with her family and made us feel supported in a very unsettling time. Sheila helped us during the planning process in countless ways, from finding chair, furniture and linen rentals last minute (which is very challenging during peak wedding season!), creating our day-of timeline, helping us with the layout for our ceremony and reception spaces, and coordinating our vendors beforehand and the day of our wedding. On the day of, Sheila ensured our vision came to life and her attention to detail was really remarkable. She was super organized and gave us a lot of helpful input. She suggested that we take a few moments just the two of us immediately after the ceremony and arranged for us to have a glass of bubbly and some hors d’oevres in a quiet space - this ended up being one of our favourite moments of the day. Sheila communicated clearly throughout the process, and always got back to us quickly. She is super knowledgeable about the local wedding industry and has lots of experience.There were a few hiccups the day of with the venue (not her fault) and Sheila handled them immediately and professionally and kept us in the loop. I cannot recommend Sheila enough. Our wedding day was amazing, in no small part because of her!

Working with Sheila is a dream! As a wedding photographer, I truly appreciate her thoughtful, seamless planning. Every detail is perfectly in place, and even if any last-minute issues pop up, Sheila is quick to adjust and resolve them smoothly. She’s not only incredibly organized and proactive but also a genuinely kind and thoughtful person to be around. Her communication before the event is spot-on, making scheduling a breeze. I can’t recommend Sheila enough, and I am so looking forward to working with her in 2025!

Sheila has become family at this point. She’s done my wedding and my sister’s wedding which was during Covid. I had no idea where to start when it came to our wedding planning but Sheila was able to come up with design concepts and vendors that suited our tastes and our personalities for the actual wedding day. She arranged all the appointments we needed and scheduled everything in an organized way. She was able to help me include a lot of my family the day of the wedding also because she knew how important that was for me. She helped me when I was anxious the day of the wedding and she was able to handle our big day. I wouldn’t have chosen any other planner. She’s the best ☺️
