Our experience with International Dance Academy has been absolutely wonderful. My daughter has been attending classes here for about 2.5 years, and the growth we’ve seen in her tumbling and dance skills has been incredible. Thanks to the strong technical foundation and consistent training she received, she was able to join the all-star competition team this year, which is already competing successfully at the regional level. Coach Ulyana is truly exceptional. She places a strong emphasis on proper technique, builds solid fundamentals, promotes a strong work ethic, and continually challenges her students to reach their highest potential—all while being supportive and inspiring. It really shows in the confidence and skill development of the dancers. The rest of the coaching staff is equally impressive. Many of the coaches train under Ulyana’s supervision at TAMUCC in cheerleading and dance, and they bring so much enthusiasm, energy, and dedication to every class. In short, this studio is amazing. I highly recommend International Dance Academy to any parent looking for a place where their child will grow not only as a dancer, but also in confidence, discipline, and character.

International Dance Academy truly stands out for its European training tradition and disciplined, classical approach to dance. The focus is on strong technique, musicality, posture, and artistry — not shortcuts or trends 🤍 Our daughter has been training with Miss Ulyana for four years, and we continue to be impressed by both the work ethic she instills and the results we see. IDA’s All-Stars team competes successfully at regional and national competitions, which speaks volumes about the quality of training.

IDA is a fantastic dance community where the coaches inspire the girls to gain new skills and do their best! The head coach is coach for the TAMUCC dance and cheer team and the other coaches are active members on the TAMUCC dance team. Everyone is gaining skills and contributing to the community. We throughly enjoy being a part of IDA!

Phenomenal dance studio! I have tried several larger ones in the area for multiple of my children and I wish we had found this one years ago. Our experience has been extremely positive and rewarding. This studio exceeds my expectations and is by far my favorite. Dancers get individual attention during group instruction, and staff are highly skilled and experienced but still personable and nurturing. My daughter has excelled through regimented instruction provided by coaches who are still approachable. Other dance studios in the area have very crowded classes and my dancer has never been able to even talk to the coaches. The classes here are some of the best we have found for high school drill team prep. Prices are very reasonable, and the studio owner communicates all fees before slapping them on your account which has also been a frustration from prior studios. The owner is well connected in the drill team world and has helped us navigate finding community opportunities for drill team preparation. As a mom of five I really can't say enough good about this studio! Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough great things about IDA. Our experience here has been more than amazing. My daughter took tumbling here with Coach Ulyana. Coach Ulyana got her stronger, increased her endurance and stamina, and helped to improve her confidence in everything she does. Coach helped us more than words can express. This program is here for the long haul. They have the heart for the sport, and it shows.
