We have the best family days on the water and make the greatest memories, thanks to these amazing people and their boat rental company in Guntersville! From the moment we arrive, the on site staff is so friendly and helpful. They make everything super easy and stress-free. The boats are always clean, comfortable, and perfect for a family day of cruising, swimming, tubing and simply soaking up the sunshine and gorgeous views! It is evident this is customer driven company that truly cares about their people, community and takes pride in what they do while providing exceptional service. We are repeat customers with Island Boat Rentals. Each time we have used them we have had a cleaned and ready boat for our family to enjoy. What I have loved the most is the clear FAQs page and knowing what you are going to get before you get there. We have even been able to send a quick text while on the lake to extend our rental time because we weren’t ready to call it a day. Our most recent time we took our doodle on the boat for the very first time. We will definitely continue renting from Island Boat Rentals!

We had a great time on our boat tour! Rain in the area but Captain Thomas did his best to keep us dry. Ended up being a beautiful sunny day. The shoreline is full of birds and turtles. Saw dozens of eagles overhead. We learned so much about the lake and wildlife. Very knowledgeable tour guide. We will definitely come back and do this again.

Great experience today on their pontoons! Great service, easy to use. Just watch the wake in the marina. After 4 hours on the water, we’re were 100 yards from the docks when the police pulled us over and we did not have a wake.

They walked us through everything we needed to know about the boat, safety, and the best spots to check out. The rental process was seamless, and the boat itself was clean, comfortable, and handled like a dream. The highlight of the trip? Without a doubt, the bat cave on Lake Guntersville. As the sun began to set, we cruised over and watched thousands of bats emerge in a breathtaking display of nature's rhythm. It was eerie, magical, and absolutely unforgettable — something you truly have to see to believe! Both lakes offer beautiful scenery, calm waters, and plenty of space to tube, swim, or just relax and enjoy the Alabama sunshine. We dropped anchor near some small islands, had a picnic, and soaked up the peaceful atmosphere. Islands Boat Rental made the whole day easy, safe, and fun — whether you're a seasoned boater or just looking for a family-friendly adventure. Highly recommend them for your next lake day.
