My 8 year old loves this place. She especially loves the teacher. He is fun and funny yet serious about learning the piano. My daughter looks forward to coming each week. We are looking forward to other opportunities in the near future for my daughter to continue to learn to play.
My oldest daughter took a couple piano classes here several years ago and it was a good experience. Most recently, however, i brought my 6 year old and I'm sorry to say the instructor was not patient with the small group of kids taking the beginning keyboarding class. He would get frustrated if they hit the wrong key and my daughter did not want to come back after just one lesson. I later called and asked if i had mistakenly signed up for a more advanced class because he expected the kids to get what he was teaching right away. I cringed every time he would get upset at the kids. I couldn't believe that after so many years of working with small kids he didn't have more patience. Needless to say i will not be bringing my daughter here an longer.
Mi hijo ha estado tomando lecciones aquí durante 5 años y ha florecido por completo en su fabuloso entorno musical. Ellos son siempre educados, profesionales y amables. Cambiamos nuestro horario con frecuencia y siempre han sido muy flexibles. ¡También nos lo pasamos muy bien en los recitales del primer viernes de cada mes! No podrían recomendarlos lo suficiente.
Me encanta este lugar. Los dueños son muy amables y la atmósfera del lugar también es agradable. Los instructores que he tenido el placer de conocer son muy conocedores y se toman su tiempo con mis hijos. Mis hijos, especialmente, disfrutan venir y realmente han destacado con los instrumentos que tocan. ¡Muy recomendado!
Jammin' Music is amazing! It's a fantastic place for music lessons and community. Geoff Parry is great with the little kids in the group music classes, where my daughter started: the kids have a lot of fun with him while learning songs and rhythms and developing singing voices and musical ears. My son started private recorder lessons with him, where Geoff taught him a great mix of Bach and Beatles, before he moved on to classical violin with Cliff Goodrich. Cliff is patient, encouraging, and precise in his instruction. My daughter is now taking private piano lessons with Geoff. We love the studio's fun atmosphere and eclectic support of classical, rock, and pop musical interests. We also love the monthly student recitals and community gathering during First Fridays! The staff has always been helpful, organized, and professional.
